pickShort Review: One of the classic Miss Marple stories, this one has been adapted several times & in fact was the first Miss Marple film ever made, featuring Margaret Rutherford. This is a fast-paced murder mystery with quite a large cast of characters. Miss Marple spends most of the time 'off screen' but does make several appearances throughout the story but mainly investigating through proxy Lucy Eyelesbarrow. Very enjoyable read. 4🌟

Finished last week for #NancyDrewBR I kinda, sorta remember this one from my childhood. This one involves a missing dancer & just a few weeks to go to find her & get the “castle” & money left to her by the business tycoon who loved her (which will help her sister & niece as well.) Without saying too much, this one has a little Cinderella vibe to it & some serious dangers for Nancy. Slight spoiler for the Nancy Noggin ⬇️

pick#serieslove2025 Woo what an ending. Did not see that coming. This last book in the trilogy gave me all the feels. Aeri and Mikhail are close to taking the thrones and defeating their enemies. I loved the myths of the relics and we are always wondering who to trust. I am sad to leave these characters but hopefully we‘ll have more books in this world. What a great series overall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
so-soThe Curate for the church is found dead! The number 1 suspect is the Vicar. Even though he doesn't care for Agatha Raisin, he is her best friend, Mrs. Bloxby's, husband. Once again, she interfers with the investigation. I found this one to be just ok. It kept me entertained while I cleaned the house, but it wasn't my favorite.
