Harbinder has moved to London for a promotion, and her first major case involves an MP who‘s murdered at a school reunion. While the ending is a little too tidy, I found this a satisfying installment in the series. I read book 2 out of order and then went back to the first book. Finished last weekend for #NancyDrewBR I can only restate that I really need to review these right after I‘ve finished them as it all kind of blends together after a crazy workweek.🤷🏻♀️What I do remember for sure is *small spoiler alert* there were no knockouts for Nancy‘s noggin so the #NNK remains at 9/20.🤕This is good for Nanner‘s poor head since she was knocked out twice in the last book & her noggin needed ⬇️
pickThis is a low pick for me. I much prefer The Thursday Murder Club series and those wonderful characters. This was just forgettable to me but I will probably read book two. Maybe it will provide a stronger connection to the characters.

This was a good mystery/ Gothic romance about a girl trying to solve the mystery of her aunt‘s death while saving her cousins. Very Emily Dickinson- a girl and death. I loved the setting - high society, lots of ballrooms and rules! Curious to see how the story continues in book 2! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The final destination is Italy, where their father is getting remarried, but the kids want Patrick to stop the wedding. On the trip, Patrick tries to teach the kids about love, much like he taught them about grief in the 1st book, in the hopes that they will accept this new life change.
