Today would be my Uncle Glenn‘s 75th birthday. We lost him 14 years ago to pancreatic cancer. This is one of my favorite pics of him holding me when I was a baby. He was a straightforward, no nonsense person who loved his family deeply. He will always be missed. 💜 (purple is for pancreatic cancer awareness)

Elisabeth fought hard and bravely against cancer for 4 years before gaining peace last month.
She was a sweet, dear person, who shared insightful and often funny reviews of her favorite books. And she especially loved her some Kim Stone. 😉😊🕵🏻♀️

pickI got my first invitation to read a book to review with a link to the book on Kindle Unlimited. I have 2 good friends with kids fighting aggressive cancer. I've lost too many good friends to cancer. #cancersucks
Anything that alleviates the pain and suffering is gold in my book. Even if it's only for a moment. This book is precious.
My brother Greg died on August 18 of this year. I had the privilege of being right there with him when he embarked on his journey to the hereafter. He told the best stories, was an amazing dad, and above all he loved fiercely. Here's a photo of him doing one of the things that he loved most. #cancersucks #thoughtfulthursday

Really tired the last few days; the radiation is starting to really affect me. All I can do these days is just watch TV and play games on my laptop; reading just takes too much effort at the moment. #cancersucks
Am trying not to shed a tear as I listen to Judy‘s beautiful voice ; hoping next year I‘m not as sick and that the pandemic is largely behind most of us at this point. Sigh. #cancersucks #thepandemicsucks
