My brother Greg died on August 18 of this year. I had the privilege of being right there with him when he embarked on his journey to the hereafter. He told the best stories, was an amazing dad, and above all he loved fiercely. Here's a photo of him doing one of the things that he loved most. #cancersucks #thoughtfulthursday

📚I have two bookshelves in the living room, one in my bedroom, and then stacks scattered here and there lol

📚I have eBooks but I buy mostly physical books. I have both hardcover and paperbacks but I prefer paperbacks. I just love holding them.

I love seeing the grass go from brown to green. And no more piles of dirty snow.

I‘m a mood reader so my reading choices change from day to day. I try to stick to a designated TBR but that rarely works. 🤣

📚No, I don‘t usually take part in buddy reads, as I‘m a fairly slow reader, and don‘t like to feel the pressure to keep up!

🙂Honestly, I cant remember a thing. 🤷‍♀️Though I‘m suffering a little from anxiety and panic attacks... I actually have a pretty long fuse when it comes to getting annoyed...

🍷Japanese white tea, very icy cold water or a big glass of Rose! (also with ice as it‘s 90F here!)

tournevis Last time I saw a statistic that was good, as opposed to click baiting, was for Québec and it said that people in general read fewer books than they think, but that women read more books then men. However, men read as many words as women, in other forms. It holds true in most of my friends' households, including mine. Anecdotally (sp?), we all read like maniacs, but the women read books. 6y

Schuhbox Just judging from my husband and I.... we read completely different books. I read fiction and some non- fiction, but definitely mostly fiction. My husband reads daily but it is almost only business and psychology. 6y
