Light and fun. If, like me, you love the vibe of Gilmore Girls but can't actually stand Luke and sometimes Lorelai, you get the same thing here. This is like a GG fanfic with names changed. That sounds like I had a bad time. I didn't. I enjoyed it more than the soso would make you think.

pickWell, of course, as soon as I return Book2, Libby drops Book1 to complete my reverse series experience. This was my favorite of the 3 books since this story kept-it-in-their-pants (mostly) and focused on character development. It was fun to read the MCs for books 2&3 introduced as supporting character here. But poor Lucy, I feel she needs a .05 book so she can provide her perspective and I can keep reading this series in reverse!👇
pickRecommended by my SIL. Not something I read, ever. A very soft pick. But I enjoyed it. I think listening to the audiobook made the whole experience a lot better. Would listen to something of hers again.
The overall story is good, typical romance. Very cringy. Very predictable. Only thing I hated was how the whole town was so overprotective over a Big Grown Man.
Tonight‘s treelight read. I switched to it after I admitted I was in totally the wrong mood for the portal fantasy/economics-focused SF I‘ve been not-reading for the last day and a half. So far, I‘m feeling the quirky townsfolk, the planned ghost hunt, and the extremely large typeface. It plays well with the miserable cold I‘m fighting off.
