I remember buying this book from a used book sale as a child bc aquamarine has always been one of my favorite movies of all time. But then i let a friend at the time borrow the book and then she turned out to be an evil person and I never got my book back. But I finally bought a new copy! Best movie ever best book ever!

#BookSpinBingo update! I‘ve completed two books so far, neither of which were my #bookspin or #doublespin . One of them was a free spot, and the other was the tagged book. :)

I read this as a palate cleanser between books. It was a light and quick read. I enjoyed it, but I think I‘d have loved it more back when I was 10-12 years old. Fun and frothy book about friendship and change. 🧜🏼‍♀️🌀🌊💕🐚

A quick read about summer, friendship, and saying goodbye. Claire and Hailey have spent every summer together for 12 years. Now, Claire is moving at the end of this summer to Florida and the girls worry it will mean the end of their friendship. This is a simple read and only 104 pages. It's perfect for striving readers, especially those who like mermaids.

Reread! I liked the story but totally forgot that Aquamarine was kind of snotty. It's a cute story, though. And I still like it after all these years. Short and sweet.

I read this Hoffman YA title years ago and to be honest I don't remember much about it but I do remember thinking that I prefer her adult titles.

I would imagine that mermaids are #slipperypeople.
