“Goodnight moon“
This is a simple book that has a basic story line. I think this is a good book for beginning readers. I did not read this story much in my lifetime but this book is a book I feel most people have read at least once.

In this book the author uses good repetition throughout the book. This book is a good book for younger readers because of this repetition and the pictures. The pictures don't change much throughout the book and the simplicity of them make it visually pleasing and helpful for the reader to read.
I‘m starting to get a bit tired. Been up since 5 am Pacific and I read for a little over 10 hours, read almost 700 pages and completed 3 books. I‘ve had a blast reading today. I also managed to get a lot of podcasts listened to and am very close to catching up on them. #readathon #deweyoct
I would use book in my classroom to teach children about the importance of getting their sleep.
This book uses color to convey meaning. The first page of the book is an illustration of a bedroom that consists of many colors. The next page consists of two items from the bedroom. This page is in black and white. This pattern continues throughout the book.

Tonight‘s pic of moon through clouds. It was a beautiful night!
All time favorite children's book. My grandmother who passed did a recording while reading this book for my son who is now 11 and I've cherished it since he received at 1.
Great for babies! I think this is a perfect bedtime story as it provides a smooth rhythm.

In this book, the bunny is going to bed. She is looking around her room and is saying goodnight to everything. She says goodnight, to the picture, stuffed animals, clocks, and the sock, etc.
I loved this book growing up and I think it‘s really special. The illustrations within the book are amazing and I think children notice those the most, especially younger ones who haven‘t fully grasped how to read yet
One of my favorite books! A great story to tell to any child, in a classroom or not! I think this is a sweet and simple story, and is timeless! I could see myself reading this book to my grandchildren one day.
This is one of my oldest‘s favorite books for #OminousOctober “Moon” #Scarathon #TeamSlaughter @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Clwojick
Goodnight Moon reminds me of my mom reading this to me when I was younger as a bedtime story.
Goodnight Moon is a classic children‘s picture book that uses a variation of color and switches between black and white pictures on the pages. The illustrations really make you feel as if you are in the book itself.
Published in 1947. Goodnight Moon is a children's book about saying goodnight to everything in your home. This is a classic story that has been around for many years to help children fall asleep at night. I wouldn't use this in my classroom because saying goodnight is not something that you would do in the classroom, but I would recommend it to a students is who struggling to go to bed at night to read.
A classic. This is one of the only books I remember my mom reading to me. Looking now, this picture book uses color and lines to add to the story.
This was one of my favorite books as a child and I was so happy to go back and read it!
Picture book, published 1947. This is a classic book from my childhood that my mom would read to us most nights. There are rhyming sentences throughout the book and it tells a great story of getting ready for bed. This is a book that many children grow up with and will remember for the rest of their lives. The pictures move the story along.
Effortlessly soothing rhyming rhythm. More colourful than I thought it would be. Still fascinates me, what makes a book into a classic. Goodnight. 😴
