I want to read the series, but wonder if it is worth since I have seen the show? Any opinions would be helpful! #outlander
Finished! Loved this just as much the second time as I did the first time! Interesting to reading after having more recently watched season 4 of the series, it was wonderful to discover the differences between the two! Spoiler: the book is better! But I do love the series!
I‘m not crying, you‘re crying 😭 this part gives me all the feels. 🥰
The limit of the number of times one can read/listen to the Outlander series does not exist. #thelimitdoesnotexist #audible #outlander #audiobook
Hoping to get through this and the first cross before season 5 of the show begins in February! Wish me luck. I still have 6 books to read for my Goodreads challenge so hopefully I haven‘t bitten off more than I can chew.
Finished book four of my re-read. It took me so long, I‘ve managed to lose the dust cover. It‘s still an amazing book. So full of details and life. My hope is to have book five read before the end of the year in preparation of season five of the show coming out in February. In my original read of the series, I only made it through book six, so here‘s to a few more re-reads then on to new to me ones!
Very good. Davina Porter continues to an excellent job on narrating on this series and even though there were some chapters that I thought didn't add anything to the book it was still a wonderful story.

Soaking up the first day of fall! To be honest, I‘ve had these mugs out since 9/1.
This week was terrible work wise. So happy it‘s Friday and I‘m curled up with my favorite series. Here‘s to a home college football game tomorrow and then a week of vacation next week!
Another wonderful adventure! Highly researched and magically fits in with Jamie and Claire‘s story. I‘m looking forward to the continuation of Brianna and Roger as well.
Football, tea and my favorite book series. Sunday nights are much more enjoyable when you don‘t have to go to work on Monday (minus on-call, but that‘s different than a scheduled shift). Happy Labor Day!
That only by forgiveness could she forget-and that forgiveness was not a single act, but a matter of constant practice.
I'm maybe 95% through my re-read of book four, and just got to...well, no spoilers, so I'll just say Ian... 😭😭😭
I love this series so much! #outlander #reread
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Finally got this one!! Now I can catch up on the series.
I'm starting to love Roger as much as I did Jamie when I first started reading Outlander.
#Outlander
Taking a break from house work to dig a little more into this one.
The only thing, well not only but main, I dislike about her books are the length! I feel like I read for hours and the status only goes up 1% 🤦♀️🤷♀️

Once again, Claire has me laughing out loud. #spiritanimal
At this rate, I‘ll be through all 8 books before the month is up!
Didn‘t like this one as much as the previous one, but an interesting change of pace
My favorite of the books so far. Diana's attention to detail is something to really appreciate. Can't wait for the next one! (Although I think the 5th one is supposed to be slower...)
When you “go to bed” early so you can just read in peace! ✌🏼😂 my April reading was 🤬💩 but I‘m feeling good for May! 📚
Not my favorite of the series, but still enjoyable. I hope to see more of Ian in the next book.
Only about 200 pages left. It was a rough day, but I am ending it on a good note.
Having a good morning. Music, books, and a calm dog, on National Puppy Day.
"It's only a moment, but ye feel as though it will last forever. Strange, is it no? Ye can almost see the light go as ye watch — and yet there's no time ye can look and say Now! Now it's night."
This description of my favorite time of day made my heart grow warm. It was so perfect! ❤?❣
Not what I wanted to wake up to this morning.
I will now have endless hours of this song, on repeat, in my mind.
Waiting on the husband, he has never seen Pet Sematary before. Once he settles in we will enjoy the movie, until then I am getting a few pages of reading in.
46° in Illinois called for a fire and outdoor reading. A bit chilly but I needed fresh air and the smell of wood smoke.
#waitingroomreading Dentist appointments usually means quiet reading time, but today a cute little girl is chatting me up.
Found this one at the sale books at my library which I got excited to get since this is the next one I need to read and the hold for the ebook is a mile long.. and the one my local used book store has it‘s the big clunky hardback copy..
I'm sick of posting pictures from my ugly audiobook app so you get this promotional shot from the show. You're welcome.
This has probably been my least favorite so far, unfortunately, but I did still enjoy it. I never really jelled with Brianna and Roger so that had much to do with it.
In honor of the Outlander season finale tonight, we‘re having Scottish Cottage Pie for dinner.
😍😍😍Just finished the season finale and I‘m just going to say it Murtagh is hotter than Jaimie now! Has anyone else watched the last episode yet? I have spoiler comments below😶
Get away from Downton Abbey you horrible, horrible man!
My delayed gratification compunction has me meting out these books at a glacial pace; having just started watching the show, I may pick that up a bit. This was a solid entry. Spending time in another world is my greatest escape and this gives us multiple settings along with timelines. But there were things in here that annoyed me.
December hasn‘t been too shabby!! 😍🙌
I‘m a sucker for Outlander - I love the characters and the richness of the world building. I eat them up! This one was particularly exciting as it takes place in America! Plot wise, it was pretty slow but I enjoyed the extensive descriptions and character building. I‘m loving the new TV season and am tempted to pick up the next book now!
The deep deep feels❤️❤️❤️❤️This was my favorite episode of the season. Anyone else watching? What do you think?
Spent a lot of today in the car, driving to and from VA with Maya to visit my birth father and half-siblings. A lovely hike in the woods (Which reminded me of Fraser‘s Ridge in Outlander), cozy dinner, and then a 2 hr drive back home.
I‘m exhausted, but it was a really good day. Really good. ☺️
