I got into this one almost as much as the first three but didn‘t like the turn it took at the end 🤷‍♀️still kept me in suspense, though, and is a fun, easy read

I was really into this and then I didn‘t love where it went, but still very readable and I wanted to know the end even if I didn‘t love the turns it took

I really enjoyed and recommend this book. You follow the main character through heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and get a glimpse of history that many of us aren‘t aware of or think about. I definitely teared up at the end. 🥲

robinb I enjoyed this one as well. A very unusual and thought-provoking book. 1mo

I picked this up at my used book store for like $3 and it was worth so much more than that. Such a unique, important, beautifully written story that made me tear up at the end. One my favorites that I‘ve read this year.

This was tough to read in our current times, but interesting characters and story. I wish I had a little more resolution with some of the characters.

At times this was a little too detailed for me, but I think it helps add to the reality of what the main character was going through. I did enjoy this book and it describes in a lot of detail the sad reality of ALS.

This one came in from library too. I‘ve seen a lot of videos about these attachment theories on tik tok, so wanted to see what the buzz was about 😂🙃🤷‍♀️

I watched the show on Hulu and enjoyed it but of course the book is even better! They changed quite a few things in the show so it was nice to read the original intent. It made more sense.

So proud of the women who wrote this book that I‘ve been blessed to collaborate with for my podcast this season. This book is well crafted and follows the cycle of the Church‘s liturgical year with excerpts on saints and testimonies from the authors‘ own personal experiences as well. A must read for Catholics and non-Catholics!

I didn‘t read nearly as many books as I usually do last year. I bailed on 2 and am still working on 2…I usually get to like 20 books a year which I still know isn‘t * a lot * but this list only has 13 🙃😭 I blame the pandemic and tik tok 😬

I read this book before I went to college. Before I knew of the actual injustices that were beyond my small, white, middle class suburb. Reading this over twenty years later in 2021, knowing what I know now breaks my heart even more than it possibly could have at 18. We need to end the racist system of the death penalty.
