A real page turner with a lot of twists.
Not 100% convinced about the ending but still worth a read.
#Audible First audio book ever !
I really enjoyed this book although it's listed as a young adult read. Reading some scenes literally left me with goosebumps. I think anyone who reads the first two pages will be left wanting more!
Did not make it to my "pick" list. Many scenes are predictable and there isn't anything much to keep us wanting more. Although I enjoyed the evolution of the main character in terms of self-esteem, I think it should have been exploited further.
This man is completely mad! Summer, an all-American teenage girl, is abducted by a maniac who keeps calling her Lily. This story, told through three alternative voices, got me hooked right away. Although it does feel a bit rushed and predictable at the end, I think it's still worth reading!
Follow this 17-year-old girl through her escape from North Korea which lasted over a decade. A captivating autobiography!!!
About her first time outside North Korea.
This crime thriller is slightly confusing at first as there are different settings and so many characters. It can be read as a stand alone story but I guess I would have benefited from reading the first DI Charlotte novel. The story is dark and twisted and I didn't particularly enjoy the intensity of the violent acts on children. I guess I wasn't the targeted audience.
Loved it with all my heart!!! Couldn't put it down.
