Back in the day, I devoured all of John Grisham‘s legal thrillers, so this was a reread. Still enjoyed it!

2. Rain. Snow means shoveling, even though our HOA is supposed to take care of it...

It has been a long time since I read this one. I enjoyed it and it needs a reread at some point.
I bet we got 10 inches of precipitation in 20 minutes. I don‘t know if that is heavy rainfall, but something crazy just happened and there is a small river flowing down the street outside my front door. So I guess it‘s books and Netflix tonight. Yay!

This was a good re-read - at times, it read almost like a movie, as it‘s very fast-paced and plot-driven. But I enjoyed it very much and learned a bit more about American trial process.
I‘m super excited to report that my decluttering project is FINALLY nearing the end. I chose this re-read (of which I remember nothing) for my next book with the idea that I will get through it quickly and get to move on with Project Declutter.
#gratitude30 I post lots of Florida #weather pictures, some of beautiful sunshine and some of storms. This is of the aftermath of an intense thunderstorm. The rain filled a wetlands rain garden that had been bone dry the day before. With the water came birds, insects, and incredible sounds and beauty. I felt privileged to witness it.

Happy Humpday Littens 👍🏻💕💕
Rain rain go away! I really want to read outside today!
Congratulations @GondorGirl on your 10k! 😃🎉🎊
One of my favorite opening lines is from the tagged book. It makes me laugh every time. 😂

Hello, monster blob! 😳
No #audiowalk tonight. Instead, I was grinning like a loon as raindrops fell on my head!!!! It's 25 degrees cooler than usual right at this moment! And we so desperately needed this. The poor firefighters battling the Burro Fire have desperately needed some help! I heard it's 50% contained as of today (but 25000 acres have burned 😕). Praying it rains for hours!! ☔️🌧🌵🎉❤️☔️🌧
This is my day. Actually, it keeps raining just enough to keep us from taking a walk. But not too much to keep from reading 😈
You know you live in the desert when you look up rain sounds because it has been months with out rain and you miss it. Reading and listening tonight since everyone else is asleep.
I think this is even worse than the forecast from earlier this evening. 🙈
Drove through a mess to get hubby to the outpatient center at 6:00am for a colonoscopy. Not really a day to be out, but I've got all my reading material with me. And my umbrella 😄 #WTForecast
I need to get up and clean before I go pick up my mother for a week's visit. But....
It's rainy and very cozy in bed with Persephone. I just want to play on Litsy and read.
She is not amused that I wanted her to pose.
My actual Facebook feed yesterday morning.
I guess it really is all about attitude.
Back in the day, I read and mostly enjoyed John Grisham's first five books. But I never got around to his sixth -- until last week. The Rainmaker is a courtroom novel pitting a rookie lawyer against a giant insurance company. The book is a little overstuffed with subplots and side characters, and the trial doesn't have enough drama (too much goes the hero's way for the outcome to feel uncertain), but overall it was very enjoyable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Rainmaker was the first book from Grisham I ever read. Before that I thought he would be one of those authors I would never read or like. Then I happened to get this for free and decided to give it a go. I was very surprised to find out how good it was. Since then I have read some more of his books.
