(2000) It's been a couple of years since my last Stephanie Plum, so I picked this on audiobook for a long drive. In this one, the body is a mob boss's son, Ranger is a prime suspect, and Grandma Mazur moves in with Stephanie. It's a little wincey due to some ethnic humor based on a Pakistani character, which I hope the series gets past quickly. Other than that it passed the time as expected

My favorite new character is the dog, Bob, that Stephanie gets talked into "babysitting." I'm honestly hoping she keeps him. Some of the parts with him were hilarious. Especially the parking lot incident. ?

I just hope the wait for my library hold on book seven isn't too long of a wait...

For #day20 of the #augustphotochallenge, I'm picking Janet Evanovich's books. I would consider all of them to be #funnybooks. Stephanie never fails to get into the nuttiest situations and, while I'd be curled up in the fetal position if I had just been shot at or held at gunpoint, she takes it all in stride and comes out on top. Sort of. I could use her for #day23 fav female character, but I'll try to come up with someone else! #augustofpages
