So I realize that adding any more ebooks to my kindle app is just ludicrous, HOWEVERRRR I have been making an effort to read from my kindle, so I‘ve decided its appropriate to go HAM tomorrow for #StuffYourKindleDay.

Who else is doing a little ebook shopping tomorrow? Does anyone have any books they‘re excited to get?

Clwojick @Bklover I know that a good chunk of them will be free for the day, so you shouldn‘t break the bank! Some newer ones might be at a lower cost, but I‘m not 💯, as it‘s my first time. I started a little early, ans checked out the cozies & thrillers…. And already added 200 to my collection 😳😅 I‘m starting with 2750 unread on my kindle, so we‘ll see how caught up I get at midnight. 😂😂😂 10mo

Clwojick @Jjaxn95 I‘m probably not the best person to ask, since it will be my first time. But tomorrow there will be thousands of ebooks available for free for one day only. This does not count towards your kindle unlimited 20, ans instead acts as a purchase, so once downloaded you have them until you decide to delete them. I‘m not sure how new the books will be, or how popular, but I know that the romance genre will have a ton to pick from. 10mo

I have an old kindle gen 3 keyboard that‘s not holding a charge well. I think it‘s time for a replacement. Anyone have opinions on paperwhite vs oasis?

swishandflick I love my Paperwhite! I don't have any real experience with the Oasis but I couldn't figure out why it would be worth the price jump, personally. 4y

kstadt929 I have never used the oasis, but when I was choosing between the two I got the paperwhite. I am completely happy with my choice and love how it looks like pages of a real book. Much easier on the eyes 👀 4y

magyklyXdelish I‘ve never used the oasis. I just recently bought the paper white with no special offers and that was still cheaper than the oasis with special offers so I went with paper white. I am not usually a fan of ebooks but I wanted something for the Netgalley books instead of my phone and overall I‘m extremely happy with it. 4y

Ok, some of you might remember that I‘ve had some problems ordering ebooks from Kindle. Well, turns out that you can only buy 6 ebooks while being outside of the country in your settings. You need to contact customer service and they will reset it, and you can get 6 more, and then they block it again. Just an FYI when buying ebooks while outside your own country! This is the UK site.

julesG That's strange! When outside my home(!), I buy kindle books through the amazon website. That has worked quite well so far. I remember getting lots of 99c deals while not in Germany, so there definitely wasn't a restriction. Maybe try through the website? Then download the books from the cloud to your device? 5y

Tove_Reads @julesg I‘ll try with a VPN next, hopefully it‘ll work. This is the UK site. Rest of Europe can use the Amazon.com which I used to use, but it‘s hard with physical books. I have to change my settings between the US and the UK, because some don‘t send used books outside of the country. I have an address in both countries. 5y

julesG I use the DE site most. Thanks to an address in the UK, I sometimes use the UK site and download the book to my computer, then transferring it to my device. As soon as the DE site was created, Amazon USmore or less forced me to move my account there. 5y

Tove_Reads @julesg Yeah, I have to use the DE site for many things, but if I want to order a Kindle device I have to use the US site. We‘re supposed to get a Nordic one soon. I bet it‘ll make everything worse ☹️ 5y
