Imagine that your husband has two other wives. Youve never met the other wives. None of you know each other, and because of this unconventional arrangement, you can see your husband only one day a week. But you love him so much you dont care. Or at least thats what youve told yourself. But one day, while youre doing laundry, you find a scrap of paper in his pocketan appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and you just know its another of the wives. You thought you were fine with your arrangement, but you cant help yourself: you track her down, and, under false pretenses, you strike up a friendship. Hannah has no idea who you really are. Then, Hannah starts showing up to your coffee dates with telltale bruises, and you realize shes being abused by her husband. Who, of course, is also your husband. But youve never known him to be violent, ever. Who exactly is your husband, and how far would you go to find the truth? Would you risk your own life? And who is his mysterious third wife?

OMG this book was so good. I don't want to say too much because Anna still needs to read this #LMPBC book but if you like twisty reads that keep you on the edge of your seat you need to add this book to your TBR list. It doesn't come out until the end of December. Just when I thought I had it all figured out another twist was added. Amazing pick Erika!

EH2018 Yay, glad you liked! 2mo

A woman‘s husband has two other wives that she knows about but has never met. Thursday thinks she is fine with this arrangement and seeing her husband once a week. But after finding a scrap of paper in her husband‘s pocket with the name of his other wife, Thursday begins her search to find out who this woman really is.

An entertaining read with an ending I wasn‘t expecting.

This is my spoiler post about this book. Holy moly!! This was a wild ride. It seemed normal enough at first, still a messy marital situation for our protagonist Thursday, but people are into different stuff, no big deal. Then further along in the story she goes crazy, well the people around her make her believe she is crazy! Or do they?!? Is she really crazy... I‘m not entirely sure! I will probably ready it again to make sure.

Mehso-so

This book got me hooked almost right away and it sucked me in I finished it in my 3rd sitting with the book because I constantly wanted to know more than the narrator was providing. There is a lot I want to say about it, but too much more would be spoilers. I‘ll post a separate post with my spoilers. Wild ride @Lovesbooks87 @aroc @EH2018 also I sent my book out a bit ago; moving got me all messed up.

Lovesbooks87 That's okay. I will keep my eye out for it! 3mo

Pickpick

The narrative lives in the head of the main character and she is incredibly unreliable—I mean there are unreliable narrators, and then there are the kind that Fisher writes. Tarryn is a detailed and meticulous storyteller which is why some of the clichés surprised me. All-in-all another banger from Tarryn Fisher. She's pretty incredible. You should also check her on social media—I love “Tuesdays with Tarryn,“ her support of women, and good deeds.
