I might be lying if I said I understood this book completely, but I still loved it nonetheless. Weaving seemingly separate lives and characters into one tale, I would definitely recommend this to any murakami fans if you haven‘t already read it.

Tonight I got to tell Homer Hickam just how much his book Carrying Albert Home meant to me and he gave me a hug! 😍

This remains one of the most beautiful and enchanting books I have ever read and it has stayed with me and I feel it will be with me for a long time.

If you have not had a chance to go on this journey with Albert the alligator I implore you to pick up a copy at once! You won't be disappointed!

DebinHawaii I read this a couple of years ago & reviewed it on my blog. Such a sweet book & Mr. Hickman left some nice comments. 🐊💚Big love for him & for Albert! 5d

Oh this book. I have all the feels after finishing it. I can relate to so much of this book. I think this is the perfect buddy read or book club book. A lot of conversations will be started from this book, and I think that's amazing. #hellosunshine #reesesbookclub #recommend

This was such a fascinating book! Michael Pollan dissects the relationship between plants and people and frames it in a way that plants are using us instead of us using them. He focuses on four plants and how we view them: Apples for sweetness, Marajuana for intoxication, Potatoes for control and Tulips for beauty. I really enjoyed learning about the history of each of these plants and how they shaped our society. #recommend #bookonplants

If anyone has recs for romances involving assassins, kilts, eloping, wine, or some queer paranormal that would be super awesome. 😘

I could not put this down! It was fast pace, gruesome, horrifying, yet beautiful. Women are not treated as equals to men. At age 16, girls must go to an island for a year to rid their magic, so they can return pure to he married or to work. Yet, something happens on the island. There are poachers killing them and the girls turn on one another. Can they survive this world?

allthingskayla @felinesandfiction enjoy! I just found out Elizabeth Banks required the rights to make it into a film. :) Also, I really need someone‘s opinion on what exactly happens at the very end because it left me a smidge confused. 2mo

So glad I won this ARC from BookRiot! The art is gorgeous, and the story felt fresh and new. Multiple worlds, a magic hotel, a magic grandma (!), family drama, and a rat named Donut!!
I hope there'll be more in the series!

At only 160 pages, this was short but good! A native legend of two old women who are abandoned by their tribe and forced to fend for themselves in the harsh Alaskan winter. #Recommend

Again, not my usual genre for our #AccidentalBookClub, but I really enjoyed this quick read. I predicted parts of it, but it was an enjoyable page-turner that was better written than #TheSilentPatient, our last #BOTM club pick. #Recommend
