This was SO easy to mindlessly follow and finish quite quickly. I‘ll definitely buy more from Karen Hamilton.
#Scarathlon2020 Review for #TeamHarkness @StayCurious 6pts
This is definitely more of a #TeamSlaughter book, but it's a slow burn. It felt weird to root the MC on to kill MORE people, but there I was. I almost DNFed it, but it improved. The ending makes some readers mad, just fair warning. 💀
A first-hand account of a psychopathic mind, twisted in the best way. If you like the show You, you‘ll definitely like The Perfect Girlfriend!

Although this debut about a woman who is clearly nuts and will stop at nothing to reunite with the guy who dumped her is 100% ridiculous, I had no trouble reading it. Not one bit of the story was even remotely plausible, but I kept going. #covid19readathon
This started out ok...I had a definite “You” vibe and I was curious about Juliette and her motivation for stalking her ex. However, as the story progressed she didn‘t have any qualities that were appealing, which was what made #You such fun to read. Juliette suffers from severe mental illness. The book lost its appeal quickly and also becomes ridiculously unbelievable. It has no ending, it just sort of stops. Not for me. Flowers from my yard. 🌸
WHATTA RIDE. It‘s super unbelievable with soap-opera levels of drama, which makes it perfect for a social distancing read. Go in for fun and stay for the crazy. The ending was abrupt, but it was a great distraction from the world. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book 5/12 for #bfc28
Starting off #24B4MONDAY with the tagged book, though I‘m hoping to tackle a lot of this list. My grandmother is getting ready to pass and That Which Shall Not Be Names makes everything complicated, so I‘m going to try to escape into some good books this weekend.
Enjoying #theperfectgirlfriend so far! Juliette is a memorable character to say the least.

For some reason, I felt like Ashley Judd should be cast as Elizabeth/Lily/Juliette
All the dishes are done, all the folks are gone and I get to read and snuggle with my doggo❤️
Now that we are nearly in December, I have started to pick some books that I hope and want to read. I have two books still to finish in November first though! #tbr
This book shows the darker side of break ups. It didn't end how I thought it would at all and left me a little bit angry at the person involved. But not everything in life has a happy ending
There have been really mixed reviews about this book on Litsy, but I actually enjoyed it. It‘s a quick read that has moments that are great nods to Gone Girl. The truly psychotic girlfriend, the clueless boyfriend, and a tangled history. What more could you ask for in a fast week day read?
Started so good but really dragged on and felt like the ending was just cut off so to speak.
“Because, without love and acceptance, all that‘s left is something dark and hateful.”
Just finished reading this book and wow is it twisted and pretty crazy. I thought it might be a book where j would eventually understand or kinda like the main character but nope hated her so much.
Stayed up late to finish this last night. What a waste of time!!! #overdrive #read
Seems like I‘ve been reading a lot of books like this lately. Obsessive, stalker ex girlfriend will do anything to get her man back and some revenge along the way. This was ok like a Lifetime movie...
This book was scary. At the beginning I could understand that love makes you crazy and you do daft things when your in love and I almost felt sorry for the main character HOWVER the more I read the more unsettled I became. Crazy, obsessed, delusional, unhinged are a few words that spring to mind. You can understand someone fighting for the love of their life but this book almost made me feel uncomfortable and disturbed. In a good way though! 9/10
‘The must read thriller of 2018‘. Saw this book in Tesco last year and knew it was right up my street however waited until it came down in price on the kindle and purchased. Let‘s see if it lives up to its review. Must say I‘m having a very good book year for 2019 - majority of everything I‘ve read so far has been brilliant!
I finished ten books this month, with seven of them library books and one on my kindle.

A good definitive telling of obsession, but I could have used some other perspectives maybe.
GASP!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
This is why I LOVE THRIFTING! I have wanted to read this book so bad, and I almost bought it for $20 at Chapters yesterday, but I just found it for $2.99. I will happily pay $2.99 for this book 😍 #thrifting
This book was a wild ride. Here is the link to my gr review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2640809217
Started this one (briefly) yesterday! Trying to get into it here shortly! #readingandwatchinghockey 🐧
I won this in a good reads giveaway. Thank you Graydon House and Harlequin Books. I am ready to dive in.
This reminded me of gone girl. I kept screaming at them to realize something is seriously wrong with this chick! The internet helps stalkers wayyyyy to much.
Boy loved girl. Girl still loves boy. Girl has a plan to get boy back. A great psychological thriller to get lost in. https://www.instagram.com/p/BveVICtnw68/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=7aipoy...

Leaving me? How can you want to end this relationship, Nate? I am the perfect girlfriend.
You won't want to miss reading THE PERFECT GIRLFRIEND.
She actually made my heart race with the things she did and with her boldness. It is also difficult to believe how she thought of the things she did.
Obsessive, cunning, deceitful, unstable, and awful are the PERFECT words for THE PERFECT GIRLFRIEND. 4/5
I picked up a few books from the cart of arcs at the library that they have for employees to take. Miracle Submarine is now called Miracle Creek.
A hot cup of tea and a new book. The perfect way to warm up after a frigid outing to Costco. 📚☕️
FULL REVIEW WILL BE ON MARCH 25.

The bookstore gave me a free $10. I couldn‘t say no!
#bookmail. I won this in a goodreads give away. Thank you @HarperCollins and Harlequin Books(AKA Mills And Boon).
I was immensely creeped out by the main character - Juliet. I would not say I liked this one, but then I could not stop reading.
Like most psychological thrillers, the strength lies with the writing. Hamilton pens some complex and interesting characters, yet none are particularly likeable. In fact, Nate is rather dull—perhaps this was on purpose to juxtapose his character against the manic and impulsive Juliet? There are times where you do have to suspend your disbelief, but all-in-all a fun ride. Buckle up, with Juliet as your flight attendant, there's always turbulence.
Wow this book! The main character is best described as bat shit crazy! Read it!!
I wasn't sure about this book at the start. It kept me on my toes throughout though, going back and forth on my feelings towards Juliette. I think it speaks volumes on the writing that although you are fully aware that she is completely off her rocker, there's a part of you that, at times, feels like you're on her side. I wouldn't want to be friends with her by any stretch of the imagination but I sure did enjoy my ride on her crazy train.
New book and a new wip! Happy Saturday everyone

You‘d be forgiven for thinking this is a description of me, but no, it‘s the back of a new ARC that came though the post yesterday and has everyone buzzing.
