I fell in love with this book in the 5th grade. Recently read it to my 7 year old son! I loved reliving all the funny antics of the best/worst summer camp ever! Lots of laughs!
I never would have picked up this book had it not been for all the hype around the movie. I have to say, I loved the book. I hated the movie! So much detail was lost. Definitely interested in reading more by Josh Malerman though.

I‘ve read a lot of Sandra Brown novels. This is by far the oldest of her books I‘ve read. Published in 1989. Definitely shorter than what I‘m used to from her. Time to see what it‘s like!
