It's the true story of how Steve's gorgeous boy Oliver was stolen from him and his determination to do everything he could to find him and bring him home. Steven explains why/how his bond with his dogs is strong and it was heartwarming to see how many people rallied with Steve to support him through this devastating and emotional time. It was an emotional read for me but also a great read detailing the bonds between humans and our dogs ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Freckles is about a girl trying to find the 5 people in her life who are the most influential and important to her.The book has poignant moments that tugged at my heartstrings,Freckles is also wanting to reconnect with her mother who abandoned her years ago.A heartwarming read about how we search outside of what's right in front of us for things/people to complete us without realising that what we are searching for can be what we already have. ⭐⭐⭐

What a fantastic read. 100 witty, informative essays written about the Drag Artist world, its history and how it's going today. It covers so many well known and not as well known performers, this book is rich in details and information about these performers and what inspires them. A fascinating book featuring 10 Australian murders written from the perspective of a forensic psychologist. One of the best true crime books I have read in the way it delves into how mental illness can be a driving force in some murders. A must read for fans of true crime and anyone with an interest in criminal psychology. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #donaldgrant #killerinstincthavingamindformurder #tea_sipping_bookworm #goodreads #litsy #thestorygraph #bookstagram

This book just had too many POVs for me and kept switching time zones too much for me to really get hooked into it.I found myself trying to work out where I was and who was speaking in each chapter which kind of distracted me from the actual storyline.I found it too slow paced for my liking also and pretty forgettable once you finish it.That being said I didn't hate it and I was interested in it enough to finish it,it was a meh read for me.⭐⭐

I found myself sobbing at one stage of the book reading Valerie's heartfelt words about their love for each other and Eddie's tragic passing. I don't think anyone could read this book and not be both moved, inspired and admire Valerie for her bravery in sharing such raw thoughts and emotions. It left me saying "enough already" to myself and wanting to be kinder to myself and others. A great life changing read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Soooo I admit I am a Real Housewives addict! That being said, I can still objectively read a book about one of my favourite reality tv franchises and still not be prejudiced by my love of the shows. This book is a must read for anyone who loves any of the Real Housewives franchises. I literally gobbled it down. I loved getting some behind the scenes/insider details of some of my favourite franchises and favourite ladies. A fun read ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sophie relocates to London for her dream job which includes a rent free apartment. Why does she feel like she is being watched and then an ex employee tells her to leave her new job as it's not as good as it seems.A thoroughly enjoyable thriller ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My first Emily Henry read, what took me so long?! I loved this book! Bestfriends Poppy and Alex are the polar opposites of each other-Poppy is free spirited, Alex is quiet and reserved. Every year they go away on a holiday together and have the best time...until 2 years ago when their friendship was torn apart. An enchanting read with very lovable characters, a fast paced read too. This book left me with a smile on my face. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a thoroughly relatable on some levels and enjoyable read for me about women tricked into joining a health retreat only to discover they are being secretly filmed and exploited in a weightloss reality style show. I related so much to the characters and their struggles and how they feel about their bodies and themselves. I loved the commaraderie between the women. An engaging read that I couldn't put down.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thanks to #netgalley and bookouture for the ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. Yet another great domestic thriller in the D.I Dan Reilly series- like all of the books so far in this series, but can be a stand alone read. This one centres around a perfect teen girl who goes out one night and ends up going missing. We then delve into many intricate webs of lies from both her and her family and family friends....a mesmerising read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A captivating, heartfelt read for anyone who understands the unconditional love of a dog or any other animal and how their love and companionship can help heal us in so many ways. This story had me smiling, getting angry and also in tears. I loved that it was told through the pov not only of Adam the corporate highflyer whose temper leads to the loss of his job and marriage, but also through the pov of Chance one of the goodest boys ever. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The first chapter had me hooked....a newly single mother and her daughter moving into a new home...someone is watching them and doesn't want them moving into 'his home'....this got me ready for a suspense filled thriller and I continued reading hoping it would be one. Sadly, after the first chapter it was all kind of downhill from there...It was too light on suspense for my tastes...It wasn't a DNF for me but it was a forgettable read ⭐

A widowed lady living in a flat where she can hear everything that goes on in your neighbours flat. Then one day you hear what sounds like an argument and she then goes missing. You are determined to help the police to find what has happened to her. Whilst it was a good read in that it held my interest, it wasn't exactly a page turner/ edge of my seat kind of read. ⭐⭐A collection of essays about Krista's thoughts on publishing, writing and Reddit posts regarding fantasy fiction. It wasn't what I was expecting and wasn't of much interest to me but I think that's mainly because I don't read fantasy genre books and not a reflection of the actual book itself.
