What a great origin story for Santa Claus! I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I thought it was going to end up being too dark, but I actually really liked the way it was balanced out. I'm really glad I read it.

This is a great start to a series!

This was a good GN with the story of how Santa came to be. Nothing like having a bad a$$ Santa who is also very buff.

I do not read many graphic novels but I‘m glad I read this one - a Santa Claus origin story with a bit of cannon and a bit of originality and a nasty demon. @TheAromaofBooks this was my Dec #bookspin - so happy that worked out!

Finally got my books organized and we have this book holder that keeps popping up so every month the book will change. In the spirit of Christmas, December‘s book is the tagged.

Finished 4 books this week, so my #bookreport is not too shabby. I don‘t have any in process books to report on at the moment (quite the achievement, and probably won‘t ever happen again, lol).

Now I need to figure out what‘ll be on my list to finish out the year! 😁

Dark retelling of the myth of Santa Claus with lots of Viking lore mixed in. I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. The artwork is very detailed and extremely well done.

Loved this retelling of the Santa Claus myth. His white wolf, Lilli, was my favorite. 🐺💕. Great art in this.

The graphic novel itself is really nice with gold edges and metallic etching.

Terrible picture, but an awesome book to finish out the year with. I love new takes on familiar stories and this version of Santa was great.

Klaus is the Christmas comic series you never knew you needed (and yes it can be purchased in TPB format now). Klaus gives a badass origin story for Santa Claus, and makes for a ton of fun reading. The art is gorgeous. It is not to be missed. As the holidays approach, definitelt consider putting this one on your Christmas reading list.

Beautiful re-invented classic story about Santa Clause involved Viking style and shamanism. I am very sorry that it didn't come to my attention earlier before Christmas. It will be a perfect gift for a bookish friend who appreciates comics. The main character is beautifully drawn and has brutally sex charisma😍l hope the story will have continuation because the ending was not well developed.
