pick2 Bails and a Pick. Which is making my Goal of cleaning off my nightstand #HolidayReads stack go quicker.
The thing that makes The Holiday Switch a Pick is main character's love of Books. And we included Book Reviews from her Tinsels and Tropes Blog. Yes the plot is a big simplistic but it's a quick, sweet, holiday read.

so-soA short dark Christmas-themed read. There wasn't really room to develop the characters much as it was under 200 pages, & most of the narrative focused on the case - apart from the irritating tendency of the supposedly strong female character to keep going googly-eyed over her handsome boss 🙄 I also didn't get the mismatch of the date being 1899 yet Star Trek being mentioned in the text. 2.5⭐

As for tagged book - Didn't like friend to love interest Matt. I really wanted Lumberjack Beard from Date 4 to be the HEA. Definitely not a #forevershelf read
