I read this for the ATY challenge prompt #8 2 books relating to the same topic. I only rated it 3 stars. It took me forever to get through but I found once I got halfway I got more into it. #aty2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I learned a lot about him from this book. There were some parts I wasn‘t interested in. He didn‘t sound like a very nice person when he was off of the stage. In a way I kind of wish I didn‘t read it because now I‘ll think of all of the bad parts now when I see him on the reruns.

I couldn‘t put this book down. It was like her It Ends With Us book. It Ends With Us was a little better but not by too much. So far I like the subject matters that she writes about. This only my second book of hers that I‘ve read. I read for the ATY prompt 50-a book that includes a journey. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I thought this was pretty good. There were some creepy parts in it and it was fun to wonder what happened to the prior teams that went into Area X. I read it for the ATY challenge prompt #1-a book that was nominated for an award of my choice. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I loved how this book was told from the child‘s perspective. It made the horror of the Holocaust that much more horrible. #aty2019 #aroundtheyearin52books I read this for the weird or intriguing title prompt.

Crazeedi I want to read but don't know if and when my heart can take 6mo
Shakespearience I did the audio version of this and has the ending starts to unfold I remember yelling in my car. 6mo
Joanster5 I don‘t think I cried. It was more of an outraged feeling. The way the author shows the world through Bruno‘s eyes was well done. 6mo

I thought this was a fun thriller. I read it all in one day. I couldn‘t put it down. It was Hitchcock like. My gut twisted in suspense at a couple of parts. I may have jumped once while reading it. I did guess a part of it but I think you were supposed to at that point. I read for aty prompt 41 goodreads choice awards. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I‘m glad Bill O‘Reilly narrated it. There was one in his series that he didn‘t. This book wasn‘t as good as Killing Kennedy, Killing Lincoln or Killing Jesus. I did learn a lot though. I rated it 3 stars. I didn‘t read this for any of my challenges.

This book wasn‘t as good as I thought it‘d be. I thought there were too many characters and it skipped around a lot. The main characters I liked though. I ended up rating it three stars. It was a good book and nice to read something different. It just won‘t end up being one of my favorites. Read it for prompt #30 a book featuring an elderly character. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I read this for the ATY challenge prompt #20 - a book featuring indigenous people of a country. I picked a small book for their prompt because I didn‘t see anything that interested me. For being a short book the characters were really well developed. I was interested in it as far as to figure out what happened to him but the book was a little too dark and edgy for me. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

This was a great audiobook. I rated it 5/5 stars. It was fun learning about her and living in the White House. I slipped it into my ATY challenge for prompt #21 - a book from a poll that was either a close call or polarizing. #aty2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

The book started out as a quaint book. It was easy to read. The last quarter to a third of the book, it just got weird. I‘m also not sure what to think of the ending. I read it for the ATY prompt - a book about books prompt #12 #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I read this on a whim. Dennis Quaid was the reader and I‘m not a fan of his voice but he actually did a really good job with it. I haven‘t read a thriller in awhile and it was a nice break from what I‘ve been reading. It was a fun book and I wanted to finish it so much that I read the last few chapters in the physical book. I read it for ATY prompt book with a mostly black cover. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

This book just didn‘t interest me enough. I liked her writing but I just didn‘t care much about the characters. I feel like I‘m in the minority on this one. I read it for prompt #47 a book related to food. There were oranges on the cover so I went with that. #aroundtheyearin52books #aty2019

I read this for the around the year challenge in 52 books for prompt #36 a book featured on the NPR best books of the year. It had a good premise but wasn‘t executed all that well. You could see where society could get like this though with social@media. It did keep me turning the pages. I‘m still going to put it as a pick. #aty2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I liked the writing of this book. I enjoyed how the author wrote in kind of rambled sentences like the characters. There were some funny parts in it. Although I did like it, I didn‘t like it as much as I thought I would. The book was a little hyped. I read it for prompt #13 for the ATY challenge-NY public library staff pick. #aty2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I guess I was comparing it to The Fault in our Stars. And Everything, Everything and it just didn‘t live up to those for me. It was a cute story and I did learn about cystic fibrosis reading it. I really liked the science fiction part of this book. I enjoy the different format as well. I did get a little confused in spots but I was trying to get to the ending quick so I didn‘t take as much time to understand it as I should have. I loved the details about the war and I loved the prose. However I liked part 1 much better than part 2. After awhile I did get a little bored with the letters. I thought it could have been a little shorter like 84, Charing Cross but then a little more on the love story. All in all a great read though. I read for #38 of around the year in 52 books. A book not written in the traditional format. #aty2019 #arountheyearin52books

So I started listening to this one. It really hasn‘t interested me. I‘m switching to another one. I haven‘t decided if I‘m bailing on this.

Marina_h Ohh no, I loved this one. It was depressing and sad but I loved it. I think I started it once and it didn't really grab me but I'm glad I gave it a second chance. I don't know how the audiobook is though, maybe it's better reading it? 11mo

This was my first read of 2019. It was a great way to start the year. I even had some nightmares while reading this book. I wasn‘t a complete fan of the ending but it could have been worse. I followed it up by watching the movie. Of course the book was better but I did like that the movie was different because it kept me guessing.
