This is the second book in Tuya (All Yours) duology. Liked it but not loved it. The beginning was so slow and it was about flies if you have any kind of phobia with this insect, this book is not for you. It was interesting to know about this insect but this is not a nonfiction book. You will hate Inés who has l, let‘s say a different personality😬but half way of the book, it changed and kept attention with good twists⬇️
pickI have few words as I finish reading this. I'm extremely glad that I splurged to buy the "pretty" version on getting the recommendation, as this has now become one of my favourite books. There's a beauty to the ugliness of the war story told in these pages. I didn't expect to be so affected by it. #39-2025
so-soThe narrative shifts back and forth in a confusing way, and I couldn't get a clear sense of perspective. The plot felt nonexistent, the tone was gloomy, and the characters were unlikable. Their letter rants irrelevant, and the sex scenes were awkward to read. It‘s basically about two women stuck in cycles of depression and self-sabotage. Book #39 in 2025

Finished my first November #Roll100 pick (#39 Any Subscription Book) & I quite enjoyed this unusual story about a young couple Lewis & Wren.who find out shortly after their marriage that Lewis has an animal mutation & his body will turn into a great white shark. It‘s sounds odd but it becomes believable & is beautifully written too. The story moves back-&-forth in time & also tells Wren‘s story before the marriage & her mother‘s ⬇️
