Good job, LA County Libraries. We‘re onto our third day of steady rain—and I haven‘t left the house! The past two nights we‘ve had flood warnings and I‘ve shifted activities onto Zoom instead of in person. Unfortunately today I have to venture out—to the chiropractor and the dentist. Praying for safe roads and sane drivers!

This was read earlier in the month, one of two children‘s books I read for a reading challenge “rabbit on the cover” prompt. The illustrations are just stunning, a gorgeous picture book about the change of seasons. ❄️🐰🌿💚
pickThis was a surprisingly decent read. I picked it entirely because it had a possum chapter and that's a thing on my Twitch channel. I'm happy I read it, though I don't think I'll read more Sharp.

It reads like an old legend (though I‘m almost certain it‘s just an invented story), and the illustrations give it a real magic. I can see reading this becoming a sweet part of a yearly traditions for families that celebrate solstice. @AllDebooks @Chrissyreadit @TheBookHippie @jenniferw88
