Step 1 in getting ready for fall: Re-do my bookcase with fall/spooky TBR books. This doesn‘t show a 4th shelf full of books nor the stack I have in my side room with other potential spooky season reading candidates. Can‘t wait to get started on some of these and decrease my owned TBR.

Overall this was a pretty solid graphic novel that is perfect for the season. It reminded me of a mix between The Wicker Man and The Happening. It was creepy, but it was hard to stifle laughter and take it seriously at times. It walked a fine line between scary and ridiculous just well enough that the story ultimately works. The artwork was top notch and a graphic novel was a great method of telling this story!

🍁 autumn is more of an ending, with the leaves changing and falling, and getting colder morphing into winter in Michigan ✋🏻

Though it has my birthday, so it‘s kinda a new beginning too!

🎃 yes, attending Hallowe‘en Nights at The Henry Ford‘s Greenfield Village, with a group of seven friends. We even will be eating colonial style at the Eagle Tavern! 🍻

Dessert: everything pumpkin spice - cake, muffins, latte, pancakes... Sadly it's not easy to find here in Germany...

Activities: relaxing & reading on the couch wrapped in a blanket with a cup of coffee; long walks in nature, cuddling with loved ones

First autumn bucket list of the challenge! I‘ve been really looking forward to having these Starbucks autumnal coffee beans. I love the idea of pumpkin spice lattes but hate milky coffee, so I‘m really hoping this lets me feel autumnal without needing to depart from black coffee. Fingers crossed! Also listening to The Film Reroll play through some spooky movies while I do some masters work 🎃
