I saw this story today on Facebook when I was scrolling through my newsfeed and it inspired today‘s haiku.
Doodlebug the baby kangaroo
holding on to his teddy bear for comfort
because he lost his mama

I‘m nearly 2 months behind on #readlesmis — spent a rainy afternoon at the bookstore yesterday with my sister, and she bought me this gorgeous copy of the book. Should definitely motivate me to get caught up this week!!

Today‘s haiku is inspired by the iced coffee my sister makes in the afternoons which rivals any coffee bar & is enjoyed outside on her lanai with the wind chimes & birds in the background. Her home is such a respite for me.

I saw this on Facebook a while ago and gave the first answer 😎 but I could do one or the other.
Ten-minute TED talk
About hot men of Middle
Earth … or tartan noir
I could possibly also do one about TNR but I might get too emotional.

My peeps, this one is inspired by finally starting therapy again and realizing, again, that I have “porous boundaries.” That is, no boundaries. I have a lot of work to do 😅🤪🫣🤦♀️ #haikuaday #orwhenever #haikuhive #lazybee

My favorite playlist. 🖤🐾🖤 Please excuse my carpet! We're getting rid of it in August! #becausedogs 😅
Pip's rumbling snores––
steady rhythms that softly
hum in my heart's core.
This haiku is about what I saw in my backyard today. The blue jay flew off when I opened the door and I saw a lizard in the grass panting like he was scared to death. He was fighting for his life trying to keep from getting eaten. Poor baby. This picture of the Blue Jay is from Google.
