Everyone dresses like Santa ! “I love Lucy “Christmas Special circa 1956.She was amazing.The whole cast , amazing.Its funny sweetness makes me think of a less cynical America.There were problems , but it seemed like we felt we were more likely to solve them . God bless us, every one.

Kaye Life did seem more magical then, although it may have been due to being a child. There were many big issues and concerns in our country during those years, but I‘m glad I was a kid and remember all the highlights and sparkly bits. ✨✨✨✨ I think adults had less stress than those of today. Life was simpler and more slow paced maybe. 6y

Kaye Yes I‘m sure that was a terrifying time as adults. I think life in general was slower paced , at least in our area. None of the moms worked. They all stayed home and most houses were a lot like the old tv shows. There were problems back then too, but I don‘t think life was frantic. Today everyone is in a hurry. They beep their horns and flip each other off or yells out the windows. Too much pressure. I wish we could wind the clock back a bit. 6y
