Finished this reread. 😍💖 I love this book so much.
They're so cute!!
The fanfiction snippets are my favorite parts.
This is a short and sweet book, but the ending was very frustrating. I felt like a lot of space and time where wasted on the Simon Snow stuff when I really want to get more about Cath. I think the author started some good story lines and then just lost them. I would feel better about this book of there was a second one out and it flushed out the story. 2/5
5/5 stars. Loved the concept of this story, and i loved the characters, but there was definitely somethings the characters did that i did not love. Perfect people don‘t exist, so perfect characters can‘t exist, but at the same time, I expected more from certain characters, and they took longer than i wanted to get there shit together.
This is an amazing book about being a twin . I loved it personally because , even I have a identical twin sister. When I read the summary that cath had a twin I bought the book with no hesitation and I am glad that I did that but I didn't feel like the book had a proper ending. It was incomplete other than that it's a fun read
Transfiguration OWL: 4⭐️
I read this because I had a recent death in the family and I needed a book that I knew would put a smile on my face the entire time I read it. This was completely it. This book was a shout out to all the nerdy girls out there (and boys!) who don't always feel like they are good enough but 100% are.

Which books would you recommend to us?
I have reread this book numerous times. I find the story to be lovely and comforting. Cath is a lovely character to watch come into her own. The audio, which was how I read it this time, is lovely too.
Liz thank you so much for this giveaway package!!! It is my first Rainbow Rowell book! The card and bookmarks are amazing. It arrived at the perfect time. Thank you friend 💕😊

Cath and Wren are twins and fangirls of a Harry Potter-esque fantasy series. The books and the fandom helped them through tough times. Now that they are off to college, Wren wants to leave all that behind while Cath prefers to stay in her room writing fanfiction. This is a character driven coming-of-age story. The relationships between the characters are compelling and nuanced, but the plot kind of fizzles.
In January, I featured a wall of books about Social Justice and teen advocacy in my classroom. This month, I‘d like to feature books that display healthy relationships!
What recommendations do you all have? If I don‘t have them in my classroom, I‘ll try to borrow from other teachers or ask the district for some books!
Thanks for all of your help! 💖
Well my daughter read this when I bought it for her a while ago.. she loved it then proceeded to tell me I should read it.. she has a HB copy and with my RA it‘s hard for me to hold HB books long so I finally gave in and got the audio from my library.. listening to it now and I‘m not sure how I feel. Cath is kinda annoying
A little late to the party on this one: But oh, is it perfectly timed.
Sometimes, there‘s a certain kind og book that fits a certain kind of mood. While I can‘t put the finger on my mood, at least I know that «Fangirl» is the kind of semi-existential book I need just now.
Nothing too turbulent, nothing too violent, but that cute, freshman-coming-of-age-story you‘ve heard a hundred times before, only with realistic characters and problems.
So, I didn‘t get to read as much as I wanted Saturday and most of Sunday(we were being social), BUT I decided to take a nap Sunday evening and have some tea so I could stay up a bit later than usual to get closer to finishing this; fast forward to 2:30am and I didn‘t want to go to sleep, but I knew morning Cailey wouldn‘t be happy if I didn‘t 😅 less than 100 pages left though 🙌🏼📖 #Fangirl #Mttbr #currentread #snowedin
I noticed I‘m reading on my kindle more and more, just for the ease of the books(instant download), lighter weight than most books, and the fact that I can read in the dark easier with it propped up beside me, rather than weaken my wrists trying to hold a book late into the night. Plus I‘ve noticed I don‘t look as antisocial on my kindle or kindle app than with a physical book. I wonder if this comes with age and wisdom🤔🙌🏼📖📱 #bookishthoughts
This was a good read. The beginning felt a little too "young" for me but I suppose that is fitting for our main character, Cather. She is wholly inexperienced and unprepared for the new world of college she enters. The last 25% of the novel was by far the best! A must read for all the nerds in the world!
