What a great read. Of course, I love vampire books, and this one is set in the Victorian Era. #LittensLoveRomance @StayCurious #ISpyBingoJuly @TheAromaofBooks #Read2025 @DieAReader #SeriesLove25 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.31-end /review: Wow, what a good ending! I wonder why the lady blue blood voted yes to save Blade? She has her reasons for being gracious. I look forward to reading more from this series for sure. The author did a great job of creating side characters I want to follow up on. Although I‘d say this was Steampunk-lite, it was an interesting world that the author created with a unique take on vampires I haven‘t read before ⬇️
#LittensLoveRomance Ch 28-30: this author is really good at writing action scenes. That duel kept me glued to the page! Honoria and Blade declaring their love for each other was very romantic. I was glad Leo helped Blade get in to fight Vickers - redeeming himself a bit with Honoria. I‘d like him to have his own story - and the brave queen as well! Now the duel is won but will they be able to just walk out?
This was an okay book. It had an interesting take on vampires, which I liked. I didn't feel the MC as much nor Blade. It was a quick read, but I don't think I'm going to continue with the series.

3✨ A new take on a vampire story was a fun read. Our female lead is smart and is trying to find a cure before her brother who was infected becomes a full vampire. She meets Blade who will be able to help her with more than just answers. While I didn‘t love it, I did like how different it was to continue the main series. #LittensLoveRomance I have to return to work Thursday so I wanted to make sure I‘m finishing up some July reads. 🥰
#LittensLoveRomance Ch. 25-27: that must have been so difficult having to kill her father but I‘m glad Honoria didn‘t try to save him when he was in that state. Now she‘s fallen in Vickers‘ hands and we know Blade won‘t stand for that. But how can he get to her? Things are about to get exciting in an already exciting book.
I am not sure this is my type of romance… while I did find parts of it intriguing, I wasn‘t all that invested in the plot. Overall, not my favorite!
#LittensLoveRomancr Ch.22-24: Honoria finally gives herself fully to Blade, taking something for herself for once. She‘s falling for him and I do worry what they will do about the oncoming Fade. But how can Blade completely trust her if she still has a ton of secrets? I‘m glad she finally told him about her relationship with Leo. Now, hopefully we‘ll find out what Barrons knows about the vampire‘s creation.
#LittensLoveRomance Ch 19-21: Another intense fight with the vampire - and he said something to Honoria! Do we think - could it be her father? We already know the Echelon does experiments on people. Maybe this is what Leo meant when he said he created the creature. They‘ll have to put it out of its misery - hopefully it lets them. I‘m worried about Blade being close to the Fade. ⬇️
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.16-18: Blade wants Honoria more than ever after feeding from her but her secretive nature frustrates him. Now that she is desperate and willing to let him in a bit by telling him about Charlie, will he accept that trust? Or feel betrayed that she experimented on others like him including her brother? Is she any better than her father or Vickers? Will Blade be able to separate her from them?
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.13-15: Sorry for the late post and for falling a bit behind - we have been having some hot humid days and I‘m fighting a migraine. Poor Honoria - she‘s very conflicted when it comes to Blade. He scares her - he intrigues her - he turns her on - he pisses her off - what is a gently bred lady to do? Accidentally poison him. Whoops! ⬇️
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.10-12: sneaking back into the Institute- brave and bold but such a risk. Honoria is desperate. What will Blade think when he finds out just how involved Honoria was in scientific experiments on newly infected people? Will he be upset considering Vickers experimented on him when he was first turned? And could it be that Charlie‘s father purposely infected him in the name of science? ⬇️
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.7-9: The fight with the slashers and then the vampire-intense! Honoria held her own and can definitely use that pistol. I bet Blade will use those firebolt bullets to kill it. I‘m so intrigued by Will - a verwulven or werewolf. These different creatures (caused by viruses) are interesting. Honoria has to tell Blade about her brother soon though - before something happens. Or before that doctor tells the Echelon about him.
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.4-6: Long chapters but they had more interesting world building and added more layers to our characters. And we find that when blue bloods turn rogue they become vampires and are essentially monsters. Blade is constantly struggling to make sure he never loses his control - and Honoria is testing him. Of course she is. He wants her now, and more than just for revenge on Vickers. ⬇️
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.1-3: I‘m already hooked on this story - so far the world building has been great. A world where elite vampires or Blue Bloods rule London, except for Whitechapel - where Blade rules and protects those under him. Honoria now has his protection- but they both hold secrets and it‘s only a matter of time before those secrets come out and burn them both. ⬇️
Our July read has been chosen for #LittensLoveRomance and I believe it is available in KU for those who subscribe. We‘ll be reading it quickly with 3 chapters a day starting July 12 - please let me know if you‘d like to join in!
Really enjoyable. Fantasy is helping me through the long days. Fantasy, mystery & romance all at once. Now up to book four in the series!
And now for something much lighter. #pricedrop!
...yes, this means murderous vampires stalking London slums, brewing class uprising, edgefolk politics, and per the reviews lots of smexytimes squeezed in. (Whatever, it's fun, dammnit.)

#steampunkgoespostal
sorry life was so crazy this month and I suck so much at getting everything to you!
Thank you for being so patient with me!!
I really enjoyed this paranormal steampunk romance novel. There was a slow burn in the beginning, where you just wanted them to get together. I didn‘t care for some of the sex scenes, they were a little over the top.
I enjoyed this book, but I‘m not sure if I‘m going to continue with this series. 🌟🌟🌟1/2 / 5.
Was so busy this weekend, I got barely any reading in! I‘m hoping my day at work won‘t be too busy, so I can start this.
I think I might take a break from some challenges and just focus on what I feel like reading.
Library pick up. Been a bit since I delved into some steampunk. I hope it‘s a win!
At one point in my life, I may have read and enjoyed this. But, for whatever reason, I can't get into it and I'm calling it. I don't like Blade and while I am intrigued by the world around the characters, I felt very thrown in without good explanations of some of the things that were happening. 🤷🏽♀️ #toomanybooks #toolittletime
This is my view right now. Wish y'all could hear the little stream that runs behind my apartment complex and understand how relaxing and peaceful it is after a long ER shift today. G'night, Littens!
I wish there was a better explanation between the blue-bloods and vampires; and between the Scottish loupe clans and the verwulfen. Those four groups are kind of thrown into the story without much detail.
Really enjoyed my first #steampunk romance. Great world building, explanations were layered explaining how the different societal groups were interlinked. Extra bonus was the vampiric Element. Definitely going to check out the rest of the series which increases my chances of achieving my under the covers book blog #bookchallenge #romantsy
So #steampunk isn't my genre. At all. But this was $2.99 on the nook and steampunk is a category in the pop sugar 2017 challenge so I think this one may work. I actually was able to read the whole description on Goodreads anyway without getting distracted, so it's worth a shot! #seasonsreadings2016
This was the perfect candy bar. A good romance, a creative world, danger, secrets, family and a happy ending. This is the kind of book that makes you want to stay up all night devouring it like a bag of Halloween candy. If you need me I'll be picking up wrappers and downloading her next book.
