I'm glad I stuck with this series through the first few books. Not that they weren't good, but they weren't amazing either. This one, book 4, is definitely my favorite so far. Eve and Roarke are really starting to grow on me, and I love several of the secondary characters, like Peabody and Mavis. It's always exciting to find a long (like 50 books long) new series.

pickThis series is such a fun guilty pleasure for me! Actually, I don't feel all that guilty about it, I love me some romantic suspense. And it's fun watching the various character relationships develop. It will probably take me a decade to work my way through the whole series, but I'll keep chipping away. 4 down, 42 to go!

That was a really disturbing scene. I find it hard to believe Eve wouldn't have been a lot more upset than she was, especially with her history.
Also not loving the cops covering for each other. Hits too close to home. 8h
