Mehso-so

The idea of the Reverie is very imaginative. Bubble swarms of dreams / nightmares that you have to control or else they take over. Cool idea! I think some of the character execution was a little off for me. The most interesting traits were all pulled into Dean and the villain, so sadly the main character fell flat to me. The writing style is very simple and borderline childish, but it‘s an easy adventure to read! #ya #youngadult #fantasy #booknerd

I liked the book. The concept of the reveries were interesting and I do enjoy a good plot twist. However, like most YA, it‘s dripping with teenage romance.

This was so good! Highly Bazar and Incredibly queer 💙. The main character isn't exactly loveable but I found his confusion and mistrust understandable given his situation. The writing is beautiful and I liked many of the characters. The only thing I was less than satisfied with was that the dreams didn't strike me as supper imaginative. Beyond that it was spectacular!

9/10 💫

Just starting this one, even though I lead the #bnyabookclub this Friday! I really like this quote. Book is shaping up to be potentially pretty interesting too so far

I had started reading this before the start of December, and because I was focused on holiday reads, I put it on the back burner- but it's a lovely, magical book and the author is a lovely, magical human that you should follow on twitter. Glad I made time for this read! #WinterGames @Clwojick @StayCurious #SlayBells #TBRRead (16pts)

Happy new year 🥂🍾🎉🇦🇺📚 we spent the evening binging episodes of The Mandalorian and Lost In Space. The people next door partied enough for us too. Ha. Here is my final month of 2019 reading stats. Goodreads says I read 188 books in 2019 so it must be true. Thanks for putting up with all my preview reads, my Aussie context and my #humblebrags May you all have a wonderful 2020.

#129 of my year! This is the last book in my December TBR pile and I am surprised I did it lol well almost, I just have to finish it before my the year ends. The cover is beautiful and I am excited to see what it‘s got in store for me.

Caffeinated_Reader I absolutely loved this damn book. It was very captivating and sparkly. I loved the characters and their struggles and the magic of accepting one another for who and what they‘re and want. That ending was great until the last line 🤣 but I‘ll forgive it for being its own ending. I‘ll allow it lol jk but yeah this book was great! 3w

Bailedbailed

Bailing at page 180 - beyond cheesy bordering on ridiculous. As the classic reference goes, I‘m just not that into you.

And we have another DNF! 😭 The writing is more juvenile to middle grade than young adult. The author keeps mentioning on every page on how gay the main character is. I don‘t have any issues with the LGBTQ+ community, but mentioning that on almost every page is annoying and not progressing the story. Then, the plot was not progressing either. #botm #bail #bookstagram #litsy #littens #bibliophile

Since my last book was a bail, let‘s hope this one isn‘t and that I like it. Lately I‘ve been finding a lot of books that are not my cup of tea anymore.

(Not my picture, got it from google lol my copy on my kindle has no cover to take a picture of)

Wasn't the biggest fan of this one. I was so confused through most of the book I couldn't enjoy it. Didn't really like the characters either (besides Dean, he was interesting), there was no connecting with any of the side characters, they had no story. They were just there.. Had high hopes for this one. Pretty disappointed.

I'm not feeling the greatest, I unfortunately have pneumonia and my right lung is killing right now, so I'm just going to try to get this one book done this weekend at least. If I finish it, I'll grab another book and go from there!

The cover for this book is just beautiful and I'm so intrigued after reading a couple reviews. Glad I was able to get an ARC from #Netgalley.

I like this book cover and not just because the author and I share the same first name.
