Yay! Finishing Tears of the Giraffe put me at the half way mark for my reading goal. 🤓📚 I'm really hoping I can keep up this pace for the rest of the year.

How are everyone else's goals going?

JenFowler Good job! I just checked! I'm sitting well right now. 👏✔ 6mo
BookHoarder32 Way to go! I'm at 88/100 but I review a ton for netgalley and I have no social life 😂 6mo
InBooksILive Mine's going pretty well. I'm at 44/75, so I should reach it by the end of the year just fine! 😊 6mo

Wellp, Lucas and I have food poisoning, so a day in bed it is. 🤢😷 I had to cancel two of my classes today, and I feel utterly awful about it considering I only get 5 sessions with these kids.
Anyway, I'll probably get through this book today, and I'm thinking if starting Cujo next. It's super random, but it's been calling my name. 🤔

Starting my 50th book of the year! I'm super excited to read more about Precious and her adventures. 🤓
Today's my last day off, so I baked some cookies and am going to enjoy them with a cup of Pike Place orange spice tea. ☕🍪

Clare-Dragonfly Mmm, those cookies look delicious! 😋 6mo

The story continues. New mysteries, new challenges and new philosophical dilemmas to be faced. Still the same enjoyable level of humor and unique style of writing, still the gorgeous setting, and with further character development. A gem of a series. #recentlyread #nospoilers #femaledetective #dilemma #beautifulsetting #seriesfiction

I love the No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency series! Especially the audiobooks. The characters are endearing and the situations often absurd, and I always laugh a lot reading through each book. I highly recommend these for a lighthearted and usually uplifting good time!
