The book looks great! Is it wrong to be so excited about napkins? I love them!

Wow I really loved this one! Very fast paced and keeps you guessing. The suspense was excellent and lasted the whole book. This was just a really fun read. Side note: I watched the movie after and the movie sucked compared to the book. I mean not totally but I‘d only give the movie a 3.

I started out iffy on this one, some of the MCs decisions were… interesting. But she grew on me. Lots of action, gore and twists.
Darby is traveling home on Christmas break, last minute to see her ailing mother, the snowy conditions force her to stop at a rest area where she discovers that there‘s a kidnapped young girl in the back of a van. With no cell signal, or way to get help. Who can she trust? And how can they survive until help arrives?
I don‘t really get the premise of this book…
If I see a kidnapped child in a van, outside, while we are getting snowed in, so the child is out there in freezing conditions. The extent of my investigation is going to be 🏏🏏 Excuse meeeee whose van is thaaaaat 👊🥊🔪🔪
There are other people there who are also not kidnappers…

54) Designing Your Life - I‘m glad this came up because I could use a productivity tune up.
85) The sub-in for this one is Supper Club. I‘m still reading this month‘s #85 so this will be saved for last/time allowing as I already hit the intended #85
96) Y‘all I didn‘t write the authors down when I made this list… I am assuming this is the No Exit I meant 🤣
This was an INTENSE read. I will not say more. I will not spoil it for you. Wow.
Outstanding. What a rollercoaster of a book. Wow. This had me completely gripped for the whole book. Great characters, sooo many twists and turns and a plot that just screamed horror movie. Loved it ❤️
Absolutely loved this book! I had a few nights where I didn‘t get much sleep because it was so hard to put down! Now I can‘t wait to watch the movie
Why did I wait so long to read this book?! I wanted to read it before I watched the movie so I was glad it was on my BOTM shelf! It was a crazy thrill ride the entire time! It was definitely one of my favorite books I‘ve read so far this year.
⭐️⭐️ ½ • Read before watching the Hulu movie. Not a literary masterpiece by any means, but a welcome distraction for me right now. A bonkers throwaway thriller that makes for a quick read. (Warning: It does get quite violent and gory.)
An enjoyable, fast-paced thriller. My husband recently watched the Hulu movie which caused me to bump this up in my TBR pile so we could discuss. Really enjoyed the strong female character.
I did not know this was being adapted!! Will have to watch this weekend.
A film adaptation of this book is coming to Hulu in a few weeks! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GFvupyiNEz0&gclid=Cj0KCQiA0eOPBhCGARIsAFIwTs7uch_u... Now I need to get Hulu. 😕
Super tense thriller that may trigger some, but it was a breathtakingly fun ride!
⭐️. I cannot even with this book! Awful writing, stupid characters, figured it all out at 30%!
This was a great thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat especially those last 100 pages! It was slow in the beginning but once it picked up it got so good! 4/5 stars. book 2/52 #52booksayearchallenge

Super suspenseful thriller. And the characters are stranded at a rest stop in a snow storm 2 days before Christmas. If that sounds like your jam, definitely give it a go.

❄️ No Exit
❄️ Living in Southern California, I haven‘t had many snow experiences so I don‘t know. I guess if I was inside and didn‘t have to drive in it, I would be ok with snow

This fast moving thriller reads like a movie. A woman gets stuck in a highway rest stop during a blizzard in the Rocky Mountains. She discovers one of the people she is stuck with, has abducted a child and is determined to save that child. Entertaining yet forgettable! Between a so-so and a pick.

In progress: the tagged one, which is entertaining, and At Night‘s End. Next will be one for #ReadingAsia2021, and a Dutch one, written by a successful Dutch author who I happen to know.
5 💫💫💫💫💫 This was a thrill horror fun ride. I couldn't put it down. It's about a group of people stuck at a rest stop during a winter storm. Wild stuff happens with twist and turns. Loved the main character Darby. #BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
Loved this! It had me hooked from the very beginning. Darby finds herself stranded at a rest stop during a blizzard with a group of strangers…and a little girl in a cage in the back of someone‘s van. Who can she trust? By the last 100 pages, I just admitted nothing else was getting done and I hunkered down to read til the end. Definitely a fun suspense!
Listening to this on Scribd. Pretty exciting so far. What will happen? Will they get out alive? #kidnap #hostages #snowstorm #rest_stop

I loved this one!! It kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end!!
Not a bad reading spot! Waiting for the ferry (I'm on a wee jaunt to Ireland, and that's Northern Ireland across the lough). Only got about 10 minutes reading done, before a dolphin popped up, so the book was bagged for some dolphin spotting.
I did a lot of internal screaming/panicking throughout the book! A lot of grimacing, too. I read the last 2/3 of it in one sitting because I didn‘t want to put it down. It is quite graphic in parts. Being someone with both a sensitive heart as well as a love for thrillers, I will need a light hearted read following this story! But a pick nonetheless.
Rave pick! Darby Thorne is driving through the Colorado mountains to see her ill mother when she gets caught in a storm. She stops at a rest stop where she finds a little girl locked in a cage in the back of a van. What a thrill ride! Most of the book takes place in a span of 12 hours and boy does this race along, but in a great way. Excellent book, one decent twist but forget about the twist, it‘s just really good! My husband is leaving town for 6 weeks today for work 😭 taking advantage of this early morning reading as starting tomorrow this will be more about feeding pets and walking the dog before work. This one‘s good so far. Plus it‘s nice to read about snow in this very hot weather we‘re having!
This book was excellent! So many twists and turns making this book one you can‘t put down. #June.3.17
I had a hard time getting into this at first, but once I did, it was so good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved it. Could not stop reading. Lots of twist and turns!
Darby is rushing to get home to her dying mother, but due to hazardous blizzard conditions is forced to stop at a remote rest stop.
There with three strangers, she soon learns one of them is a psychopath.
Who has a girl trapped in a van outside.
Determined to save the girl and get out alive, Darby steps up as the heroine and fights literally through the entire night.
This book was such a trip! Intense and heart-racing nonstop action. Loved it!
This was between a pick and so-so for me. There was non-stop action, but I figured out the mystery relatively early in the book. With that being said, there were lots of great twists before you reach end ⭐️⭐️1/2 #AxeTheStacks
Book 47
A thriller about four people stranded at a rest stop during a blizzard. The writing isn't good, but the plot has potential. It jumped almost immediately, I worried prematurely, into the climax, but it's a novel full of twists and continual climaxes. Overall, it fell short of its potential. ⭐⭐⭐
I was prepared not to like this book from the way it started. I thought the story/characters were not developed enough but I was wrong. As the book goes on, the story and characters get better and I ended up really into this story and not wanting to put it down. I was ok with the ending and I definitely didn‘t feel like it was predictable.
GO BUY IT NOW!
Had me on the edge of my seat I will definetly recommend to anyone who loves thrillers! So good and suspenseful would make a great horror/thriller movie. And yes it left me a little traumatized to use these rest areas along highways 😲🤣
