Hi Litsy fam- Please keep my husband and our family in your thoughts through the coming days. His grandmother passed away last night. She will be greatly missed.

Whenever this song comes on I think of my grandma. It was playing in the common room of her nursing home the afternoon she was dying. She was surrounded by family, it was as lovely as dying can get. She took her last breath as The Lonely Goatherd was playing. She enjoyed musicals and I think this would have made her smile and now I smile everytime I hear it. I was lucky enough to have her be with me for 23 yrs. ❤️

I have another grandbaby on the way!! Grandbaby #2 is due in April! 💙💗

7 years ago today, I lost this special lady. She didn't see me graduate from college or medical school. She didn't see me get married. She won't be able to hold my children someday. But she is with me in everything I do, even if I can't see her.

I have been thinking a lot about my grandma recently and as it happens my mom sent me a picture of my grandma and her siblings from the mid 30s. I have always felt especially close to grandma, we were very similar. A fellow book lover, introvert and disliker of mashed potatoes. 🙂🌺

It's been twenty years since I lost grandmother. I made a few scrapbook pages for my mom as her Mother's Day present.
💐I know this holiday is a both a special one and a difficult one for some. I just want to send my best wishes and hopes that today brings peace and a knowing you are loved.
