Another beautiful WWII story.
Another beautiful WWII story.
Stewart is being raised by his sister along with his older brother. Stewie develops a relationship with Marilyn when he appears before her selling fresh eggs from his chickens that were once his grandma‘s. The relationship that develops between Stewie and Marilyn is so sweet.
This is one of my favorite couples on tv. They have such a sweet love and relationship with each other. This book makes me love them more.
Read all in one day...family, relationships, grief, healing, life.
This was different than the other books I read of theirs. I liked it. This book was a quick, easy read.
A letter left for a son from his mom after her death leads to a hunt for a priceless box. What‘s hidden inside tells him so much.
This classic was well written. It just wasn‘t one of my favorites.
I have read Jenny Colgan‘s books before. This wasn‘t my favorite of her books. It was okay.
Not what I thought it was going to be. It was okay but I wouldn‘t recommend it to all of my friends.
This devotional was just what I needed.
What a beautiful story! It must have been so hard to be so vulnerable and write a story about being in the depths of depression and grief. God can pull us through the hard times. We need to lean on Him and ask. We are never alone with God by our side. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not exactly the book I thought it would be but it was overall a good book. I thought it would include more romance but it really was mostly about Nora and her life.
TW: suicidal thoughts and depression
A wonderful book written by a survivor of the Holocaust. He decided to share his story at the ripe old age of 100. I‘m so glad he shared his story.
A light book after a heavy one was exactly what I needed.
Another winner from Mitch Albom. An unusual story but good overall.
A very well written book. It wasn‘t a book I would usually read but thought it was good. This was a combination of a ghost story and a love story. A ballerina and a doctor, past and present.
I didn‘t get to this one before the new year so this was my first read of 2022. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
My goal was 100...happy to have passed it in the end. New goal set. What‘s your first read of 2022?
Loved this one! Last book of 2021...104 books in total for the year. Happy New Year everyone!
Though I feel like this was written well, it didn‘t keep my attention through the whole book. It kind of felt like there were some parts that could have been written more condensed. Overall, it was good but I wouldn‘t read it again.
Such a heart breaking but beautiful story. Chika sounds like an amazing little girl. I listened to the audiobook while reading this one and highly recommend it as it has real clips from Chika‘s life.
Three generations of women doing their best to save the family winery. I loved the relationships between the grandma, mom, and granddaughter. The family drama was good too. Everyone has their secrets.
One decision can affect more than just yourself. That‘s what one person finds out in this story. This was the first book I have read by this author and I think I will see what else she has written.
This was exactly what I needed today. It‘s a light, easy read.
Parts of this one were really good while others were meh. Overall, I am glad I read it but won‘t read it again.
I have loved this series. I especially love Emma and Simon. Their story is so sweet.
Another Jill Shalvis book...I am really enjoying her writing.
A brand new devotional from Susie Larson. In this book she has 24 devotions paired with a chapter from the book of Luke for the advent season.
Perfect read for National Dog Day. (At least the cover works well.)
Quick read about love long lost but found again. Seven days together, fifteen years apart, a second chance at love. Shane and Eva are both writers who bump into each other at a literary event. They pretend to not know each other rather than telling others about the week they had together 15 years ago.
I didn‘t read the first book but I enjoyed this book.
Penny is a mom, wife, friend, main bread winner for her family, and overwhelmed with life.
The journey of a lifetime happens for 80 year old Kathleen. She hires young Martha to drive her on Route 66 from Chicago to California. Kathleen‘s daughter, Liza, isn‘t so sure that Martha should be the one to drive her mother across those miles as she is a perfect stranger. Liza is overwhelmed by her husband and kids and life. I loved the characters and could totally picture everything.
Happy National Book Lovers Day! What are you reading today?
An anthology written to honor the life of DBF, aka Dottie. I definitely liked some of the stories better than the others. I didn‘t love it but am glad I read it.
This one started out a little slow for me but I am glad I stuck with it. What a mom would do for her child is unlike anything else.
Book 82...T stops E from jumping off a bridge and allows him to stay with her for the weekend. She is a therapist but doesn‘t tell her. He has secrets he isn‘t telling her either.
When my youngest daughter was in 8th grade her Lego league team did a project on bees. 🐝 This was a good story and I enjoyed the characters as well. Book 80 for me.
Hannah is a single mom of a college aged daughter who lost her mom to cancer and heads back to Seaview Key to help her Grandma Jenny. Hannah is a breast cancer survivor, her 85 year old grandma doesn‘t want to go into a retirement home, and her daughter calls saying she is dropping out of college because she is pregnant. Then Luke comes back home too to sort out his life.
Sisters, relationships, transplant rejection, and so much more. Another good story. Kinsey, Deck, Eli, Brynn, and Max.
Three siblings that come back together have lots to sort out. Piper has always been a caretaker but can she let anyone else take care of her? I love Piper and Cam together.
Still loving this series. Now on to book 4.
Book 2 was also really good. This may be one of my favorite series ever so far. Mark, Lanie, River, and all of the characters were so likable.
This was a very heartwarming book. Number 1 in the series. I am heading straight to number 2. So good!
