This book was a slow read. I really enjoyed a lot of it but personally found that there was quite abit of unnecessary info that could have been slimmed down.. The parts I enjoyed, I really got into, but it seemed to only last a couple pages before it was dragging again.. I did learn quite a bit about Harper Lee 💕 I would probably rate it 3⭐⭐⭐

Thank you @MallenNC for the #newyearwhodis pick 😊 @monalyisha

MallenNC I‘m glad you gave it a try! I loved all of it except the middle section about the lawyer. 14h
michellelav @MallenNC I enjoyed bits and peices of every section but the last was by far my favourite! I did learn a lot about Harper Lee 💕 It was very informative! 😊 14h

This book was very thoughtfully written. I was hooked from the very start and loved the journey the whole way through! Pi's courage and wisdom are beyond his years. This book is philosophical and beautiful in it's own unique way.

I've never seen the movie so I'm looking forward to seeing how they made this book PG 😂

This book was my #BookSpin done by @TheAromaofBooks ❤❤

This book shows the step by step battle Megan and Jodi had to take in order to properly help take down Weinstein. It shows how the #metoo movement came to be and how much effort was put into it by journalist, editors, etc. This book was thoughtfully mapped out making it easy for me to follow. These words needed to be said and I applaud these ladies for doing so. 🙌 Thank you @MallenNC for the #newyearwhodis recommendation. @monalyisha

Wow, I can see why @MallenNC had this in her #newyearwhodis list of best books read in 2019! This book did an amazing job of humanizing the jack the ripper victims. This book tells the stories of five women trying to find safety within the Vicrorian era. It is very well researched and made me feel right there with them. I plan to read more by this author! ❤📚

Today was a cleaning day which means audiobooks! This book gives great insight into RHCP Flea's childhood. He narrates it with such raw emotion. You can tell he wrote this book with so much love. I cried, laughed out loud, and felt so many mixed emotions. Being a huge RHCP fan I enjoyed Flea telling his own story. If you enjoy memoirs give this one a try! ❤

I started and finished this book today. It's a story about loss and how it can make or break a family. Unfortunately in this case the loss of London's brother leaves the family quite broken. It was a very good story but I found the writing slightly cringey at times. 📖

Written in the early 60's the author had used a male pseudonym. It's been said to be more of an autobiographical piece which breaks my heart. This amazingly written book follows the challenges of a young poet in the 60s aswell as her never ending battle with mental health. It's unfortunate that the author died of suicide at the age of 30. I saw she had some other publications I plan to look into.
