This was a lovely, slow burn romance. I wish I had read it before 'The Ashes and the Star Cursed King' because I would really have appreciated Lilith and Vale's characters more if I had known them ❤️

This book was a great intro to certain characters in the second book of the serpent and the wings of night. I cannot wait to continue the series 🥹❤️ Also, can‘t wait for Vale and Lilith to hopefully be in book 2 🥰

Very enjoyable romantasy novella set in the Crowns of Nyaxia world. Gives a closer look at the sickness and the gods. I loved the MCs Lilith & Vale.

I love Carissa Broadbent‘s writing style and I love the world she has created with her Crowns of Nyaxia series. This novella is just the right length for me to be able to read while still recovering from pneumonia. The characters are wonderful, there‘s plenty of danger and tension, and the love story is beautiful. I‘m so glad I discovered this author this year.

Loved it! After the other two books it was nice to read and learn more about Vale and Lilith💫 very sweet

God I LOVED this novella so much! The entirety of the Crowns of Nyaxia series is incredible. This series makes me want to learn how to book bind. I loved how Lilith is definitely autistic coded and I enjoyed the representation. PICK PICK PICK #wintergames2024 #holidaybookdragons

I absolutely loved Lilith and Vale‘s story. Very quick read but I just wish it was longer because I wanted more! I can‘t believe I have to wait a year for the next book in the series. I will definitely be re reading in the meantime.

Lilith has been dying since the day she was born. And after a god has cursed her town with a deadly plague that‘s claiming the lives of everyone she knows, she doesn‘t have much else to lose. A scientist at heart, she believes she can find a cure, however it will require her to do something foolish and dangerous- make a deal with a vampire. But she soon realizes what‘s even more dangerous than that- falling in love with one. I loved it! 5 stars!
