monalyisha @JanuarieTimewalker13 Credit to @Krisjericho for the hashtag #top17of17 & the collage idea! 6y
monalyisha Trevor Noah‘s memoir, “Born a Crime,” belongs in there, too, but I couldn‘t bring myself to sacrifice any of the other titles! 6y

These are my choices for my #favoritereadsof2017. I picked my #top17of17. Two picture books made the cut, a handful of graphic novels, some classics, and a few memoirs. A good mix. #allthebooksof2017 #bestreadsof2017

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Some of those are on my list for this year too!👍💙 6y
JaclynW Great picks! Some of these are my favorites for 2017 too. Great minds! 😉😊 I love the 17 for 2017! 6y
Christine So many good ones!! 👍👍 6y

Petrichor74 A Gentleman in Moscow was amazing❤️❤️❤️ 6y
monalyisha I also loved “The Girl Who Drank the Moon.” I read it while acting as a selector for my state‘s children‘s book award committee. We ended up passing on it for the nominations — but as an adult, I really enjoyed it! Beautiful writing & so many emotions! (I read it on an airplane & ended up crying in public, haha.) 6y

#AlltheBooksof2017 #FavoriteReadsof2017 After weeks of deliberation, I‘ve compiled my 17 favorite fiction reads of 2017....I did post a separate list of NF favs a few days ago.... I know there are still 16 days left in the month 😬what do you think??? Are any of your favorites on this list?!?!

TrishB Probably 4 would make my favs (I‘ve read 7 if them 😊) adding more to the tbr! Though next year I definitely need to be reading the tbr......yeah really.... 6y
WanderingBookaneer This one is in my top 3 reads this year: 6y
Ashley_Nicoletto Many of these were also my favorites and many of them are still on my TBR which is exciting. 6y

Kalalalatja I'm hoping that Hearts and Idaho might make my favourites list in 2018 😄 6y
Reggie I‘ve read 3 of these. Lol, sometimes I look at people‘s best of list and wonder what the hell I‘ve been reading this whole year. 6y
BarbaraBB I loved Furies, Swimming Lessons and Exit West as well. And on my TBR I have Idaho, All Grown Up and Commonwealth waiting so I have high expectations! 6y
batsy I've yet to read any of these @Reggie and that too is what goes through my mind when I see other people's amazing lists 😁 6y
Skybariline I‘ve read 7 of these. The Heart‘s Invisible Furies is my favorite of the year. 6y
Marchpane Lions and rabbits and bears, oh my! 6y
Cinfhen I know what you‘ve been reading @Reggie because I‘ve been stacking them all year 😍 it‘s been an excellent year for books, hope 2018 can deliver as well @WanderingBookaneer @TrishB @Ashley_Nicoletto @Kalalalatja @BarbaraBB @batsy @Skybariline 6y
Cinfhen That‘s funny @Marchpane 😂😂 clever 😘😘 (edited) 6y
Jess_Read_This I‘ve had a copy of Commonwealth staring me down from my bookshelf for a few months now.... sounds like I better get to it in 2018!! 6y
KellyK Commonwealth and Beartown are both on my fav list this year. 6y
Cinfhen I‘m happy to see someone else with Commonwealth on their list @KellyK I literally started it twice before it clicked @Jess_Read_This @BarbaraBB ask @Reggie he gave me a pep talk to pick it back up 6y
erinreads Last year I only had FIVE solid favorites. Last night I was trying to pick just 5 from this year and got so overwhelmed because I loved so many this year. I finally got my list to 10 but with a handful of honorable mentions, but I like your 17 for 2017 sooooo now that‘s what I‘ll do and it won‘t have to feel like it‘s Sophie‘s Choice over here. 😰 6y
Pamwurtzler I liked Commonwealth, but it took a while o get into. What is that Delia Ephron book? 6y
Cinfhen @Pamwurtzler I really loved the Ephron book...unlikeable rich people on a vacation with snarky child in tow...I thought it was biting & Sharp 6y
Cinfhen I agree @erinreads I‘m still second guessing my choices!!! 6y
Pamwurtzler Thanks!! Now I remember I added that to my TBR after I bought it for my #Halloweengoespostal swap. I‘ll have to move it up. 6y
Hollie I‘m going to have to make a list of my favs, I read so many good books this year. 6y
Redwritinghood Great list! I haven‘t read all of these, but a lot of my favorites are too. 6y
KarenUK Swimming Lessons, Siracusa, The Power, The Hopefuls, All grown up... loved all these! (edited) 6y

ElishaLovesBooks I am embarrassed to say that I haven‘t read any!🙈 But I do own a bunch #TBR 😁 (edited) 6y
Cinfhen That's ok you guys!!! You just have awesome books to look forward too @alvingregorio @ElishaLovesBooks 6y
alvingregorio Right on! 6y
britt_brooke Nice list!! 6y

#1: The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

This book is so important and relevant. It was extremely well written and I thought every single part of this book was well rounded- the plot, setting, dialogue, characters, relationships, EVERYTHING! My favorite read of the year so far.
