I've been going so hard the past few weeks. Just a busy time of year all around between 2.5 businesses. I decided to take today off, but, now I can't decide what to do. I'm enjoy the idea of mindless TV but I'm so behind on my reading this month. What would you do? I need an adult lol #suggestions #netflixorbooks #pickone

Texreader Both. Some mindless tv. Some reading. Back and forth all day. Sounds lovely to me. 3mo
DGRachel Pleasure reading or work/school reading? If it's pleasure reading, then I say Netflix. Don't turn something that is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable into another chore or work (a lesson I need to learn). 3mo
Ericalambbrown I agree with @Texreader Hope you have a gloriously day of frivolity! 3mo

wanderinglynn I also agree with @Texreader – a little of both sounds perfectly lovely! 3mo
LibrarianRyan Both. An episode of a show binge, and then equal time reading. Then another episode, etc. Josh and I do this with house work. Work for an hour, rest. It actually makes sure he gets stuff done. 3mo
KatieDid927 Books. Always. 3mo
Megabooks For me definitely books, but sometimes I‘ll have a show on in the background (usually reality, lord forgive me 🤦🏻‍♀️) that I‘ll pop in and out of. Right now, I have an episode of My 600 lb Life on. I guess I do that because reality takes little investment to follow along. But if I really want to watch tv, usually it‘s a documentary. Right now, I want to watch The Family on Netflix. 3mo
DannyHattan Watching a book adaptation 😂🙌🏻 3mo
MellieAntoinette Mindless tv! Relax! Drink tea! Happy place it up! 3mo
Purrfectpages Omg I debate this sort of thing all the time. 3mo
Ravenclawsbookshelf I'm echoing the user's saying both. 3mo
ReadingOverSleeping I went back and forth all day! No guilt + bad TV. Win win 💪😎😂 3mo

I'll probably finish the book I'm currently reading this weekend and can't decide what to read next? Anyone have any suggestions out of this book pile? It would be much appreciated!

Soulless | Gail Carriger

I got lost down the rabbit hole that is fanfiction. I love reading but sometimes (Most of the time) it's too much for me to get emotionally invested in another fictional character. So I always end up turning back to books I've read before because it seems safer. I'm trying to get better.....I'm rereading Soulless for the third time this year but I am trying. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? #readerproblem #help #suggestions

Hey all, especially #educators and #teachers! I'm looking for recommendations for our #Scholastic book fair selection! As the chair PTA committee chair, I'm discussing stock and am in need of picture books without tv characters, early reader chapter books, middle grade graphic novels other than Raina Telgemeier and NF for reluctant readers. #bookfair #raisingreaders #librarians #suggestions

Bookzombie I‘m not an educator or a teacher but I recommend this one. 10mo
IamIamIam @Bookzombie Thank you!!! I only threw that in there because people with classroom libraries are excellent sources for recommendations. 😁 All opinions and suggestions are equally valued and appreciated! 💓 10mo

I'm looking for some more reads by queer/LGBTQ+ authors and need some help! Any #suggestions?

sprainedbrain Not sure what all you have read, but I have enjoyed Michelle Tea and David Levithan... I‘m sure I can think of others but those two come to mind. 😃 11mo
LogiKitty @sprainedbrain I haven't read any yet! Do you have any favorites by them? 11mo
sprainedbrain Why, yes! Black Wave by Michelle Tea (it‘s kind of weird, though) and Every Day by David Levithan. 11mo
