swishandflick One of my all-time favorite book series!! I've read them many times. I loved the TV series at first as well, but one of the later castings bothered me and I slowly lost interest. I need to revisit at some point though, folks love the show. But as is the case in most instances, you can't beat the books! (edited) 3y

Purpleness I love the books, too, but I felt that the show started to really diverge from the books in season 3 or 4, and I gave up in season 5 when some parts were just unrecognisable. 3y

TEArificbooks I love the books. Been reading them for 20 years. Read them multiple times. I do like the show as well. They only have so much time so they can‘t show every detail of the books, but I think the show is done well. 3y

Patchshank I'm not sure it's for children per se, but it's a cute story about a boy who is raised by ghosts in a graveyard because his parents got murdered. It's not scary.

Patchshank I forgot about these. It is for children I think. I haven't read the comics, but I did watch the show on cartoon network a few years ago. I enjoyed it, but haven't gotten around to reading the comics.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book was riddled with mild annoyances and could have been a bit shorter. The author constantly throws suspicion every which way but in the end my original solve ended up correct. Don‘t know if I should be satisfied with that fact or not. I‘m new to this genre but will keep up with it. #suggestions welcome in comments!
