Starting the weekend off with a little reading.

Lala speaks kindly to her plants and they grow. Her mother learns from her, the importance of using kind words.

“A common flower, a weed that no one sees, yes. But for us, a noble thing, the dandelion.”
They let the dandelions run amuck to compile a grand #Harvest for the inimitable dandelion wine-spirits of the gods…

This was fun. I love the setting and it was interesting to hear about Merry‘s old life coming to Rudolph.

My mom recommended this book, and while she always has phenomenal taste...can I just say, WOW. I wanted nothing more than to curl into this book and never leave.

I read this because of #ISpyBingoSept bathing suit promp. @TheAromaofBooks
Geared to young teens, but all this kid does is give rants. The topic was good, too long of nothing happening, and then a cliffhanger. I'm not reading book 2.

Forever behind and making up for lost time (or points lol), here are some spooky covers.

The first #SweetValleyHighSuperEdition makes for a fun summer adventure with a group biking the CA coast! Mr. Collins & Ms. Dalton chaperone, but have recently broken up— with, to Lila‘s horror, Nora back with her father. An LA stop adds wannabe delinquent Courtney to the group— a girl with a plan that hinges on breaking up Todd & Liz to get home to her mohawked love. Funny with pranks & plenty of adventure, even the principal‘s nephew is a hero!
