Finally some time to read as my husband has an evening shift today. Going to sit down with The Secret Messenger and some delicious London Breakfast tea. It isn't a bad book but man am I struggling to get through this book. Can't wait to be spending this morning with a book and tea on this snowy day!

cherinium @Scochrane26 Me too, but today I failed. I thought I had one, but turns out it was one I just finished a few days ago. The one I'm currently reading looks similar without the dust cover. I just grabbed the wrong one off my nightstand. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 4y

How many Littens ended up with several inches of snow yesterday? I listened to my current audiobook while cleaning my house and finally working on taking down the Christmas tree before and after heading outside with my guys to have #snowyday fun. We did all the required tasks: snow angels, snowball fights, building a snowman ⛄️ and sledding.

cherinium St Louis here. I think we had about 8 inches by the time I hit the road to head to work at 4:30 yesterday morning. No time to measure or play. It only took me twice as long as normal, which made me happy. 😊 I'm one of the few who ALWAYS makes it to work when winter weather arrives, which can be frustrating. I have chosen to work in a 24 hour veterinary facility & feel it is my duty to show up. If only everyone felt the same. Whining over. 😉 5y

cherinium Today, I am ensconced in my reading room with a cup of hot tea and my kindle. I'm happy to just look at the snow from the window. I deserve it after the extra hours I worked yesterday. 🌨❄☃️ 5y

AlaMich We had about 4” here in Chicago. A good amount: enough to feel like it‘s winter but not so much that it becomes a PITA. It sounds like you guys had a ton of fun! 5y

Gomer-andthebooks We had between 7” and 9” here in central Illinois. The kids went out and made snow angels on Saturday while sat and watched them through the window reading Empire of Storm TOG. 5y
