Reviewsbylola I loved Angela's Ashes so much. Frog Music is not Donoghue's best imo, I much preferred Slammerkin and Room. Ditto for Toibin and Nora Webster. I found it very slow but I loved Brooklyn. 7y

The Septembers of Shiraz: A Novel | Dalia Sofer

While live streaming my niece's skating tournament, I read about 150 pages of this wonderful debut. Although the storyline is heavy, the writing is light and beautiful making this an easy and pleasurable read. Figure Skating: A History | James Robert Hines

Not book related but I'm sooo proud, my niece is currently in Austria for an International Skating Competition & she's currently in first place after today's short program!!! I love how she's just enjoying this whole crazy ride and not stressed out over competing! She's been texting me all week just like a giddy teenager about all the cool people she's meeting & the sights she's seen ( when she's not practicing) #GoHailey WORLD's is in 2 weeks⛸⛸

So the beautiful photos are the sole property of Getty Images but the gorgeous figure skater is my incredibly talented niece! We've spent the last few days watching her compete in an International Skating competition (She placed first in the junior pairs figure skating ⛸🏅🏆) #proudAunt #GoHailey 💖💖💖#Pyeongchang2018WinterOlympics🇰🇷I'm about to start this novel, which deals with the competitive world of sports...Will be an interesting read..
