Andddd onto book four! So far this reread of the series has been going well, although quite a few times I swear I remembered reading something specific in scenes and it was never there😅

#12booksof2022 Again another month of only reading only one book. Fortunately it was one that I actually enjoyed.
Fantastic series that really brings the reader into the action and the story. Well done.
Speculative fiction. This book follows Harry through his fourth year at Hogwarts. He gets entered into the Triwizard Tournament and is forced to compete against some of the best witches and wizards around. There is a perfect mix of danger and fun. And I will say it one more time Rowling does a terrific job of bring the reader into the story to where you feel like your along for the journey with the characters.
Here‘s my review for a book I just finished reading.
I‘m sharing my reading progress for this book I‘m currently reading. I‘m almost finished with it.
This is how far I got in this book 2 or 3 days ago but I haven‘t listened since then. I‘m about 63% of the way into the audiobook. I‘m enjoying the book and I want to get back to listening to it. I haven‘t listened in awhile because I felt like I needed to take a break from reading for a few days. I will finish this book but I will finish at my own pace even if it takes me awhile.
Listening while working on a new fabric advent calendar bunting to match the rest of my Harry Pottermas decorations 🎄🪄
Plus I treated myself to a funko advent 😍
Tonight, I listened to more of the book I‘m currently reading while playing Word Villas on my phone. I‘m having so much fun playing this game. It‘s a word game but it also has home renovation. In order for me to continue renovating this house, I have to spell out words. The character that I‘m playing in this game wants to turn her old house into a Bed & Breakfast.

Tonight, I started the 4th book in the Harry Potter series and I‘m enjoying it so far.
This book, the fourth in the Harry Potter series, takes the series into a much darker realm. The stakes are higher, and the consequences are much more severe. Harry is unwillingly chosen to compete in the dangerous Tri-Wizard Tournament. The end of this tournament results in what every wizard dreads.
I loved this book! This book gets a bit darker, so definitely be cautious to the grade group of kids you read it to. Overall, good material and shows a common theme of friendship!

One of my favorites of the series. Rowling does a great job at writing progressively darker books as the series goes on. This is the pivotal book where the series takes a darker turn, but there is still plenty of lighthearted moments, like the awkward teenage social interaction. It's also the first book where we start to get some of the more significant backstory. I particularly like that we get to see characters outside of Hogwarts.
Despite the ending, this book is mainly fun. In the next books it gets much darker. My favorite part is when Hermione catches Rita Skeeter and the niflers

Man, if the stakes weren't higher in PoA, they certainly get even more real here. And all the plot layering with Moody and Dumbledore! Just so good. #reread #childrenslit
Sometimes a book is better the second time you read it.
The older I get and the more I read these books, the more I appreciate how beautifully they relate to people at all stages and walks of life (and the illustrations are GORGEOUS). Even though I am nothing like Harry in name, shape, or form, I feel connected to him (and all of the characters) on a very basic, human level. I am forever grateful to Jo for creating this world which I will love to visit, #always.

The one where they all need a haircut. There‘s a town somewhat near us that has Glamping and one is the tents is HP themed! #pottermarathon #covidproblems #quidditch
Munchkin and I are down with head colds- I seem to have it worse so maybe I was patient zero this time lol. Between the head congestion and the sadness in my soul I‘ve spent a lot of time doom scrolling the last few days. But at bed it‘s Potter. Potter always helps.

Dillon had been reading me the illustrated Harry Potter series since before we were engaged. Today was the first time he read me a chapter as my husband. 😊 How could I not marry a man who reads to me? #newlywed #readingisalovelanguage
I apparently read this many years ago. I remembered part of the ending and not much else. There were many questionable decisions made by the characters in life or death situations.
#bookreport Finished one book this week and that was for my book club meeting yesterday.
#weeklyforecast Plan on working on these other books this coming week and having a couple of them fully completed this week.
4.75⭐️ I managed to squeak this book in time for my book club meeting tomorrow afternoon. While it isn‘t my top favourite book in the series, I still enjoyed the book for the most part and liked the continued transition of Harry and his friends from children into young adults. #2022 #fiction #harrypotter #fantasy #reread #youngadult #bookreview#bookstagram

Still working on Goblet of Fire for my book club meeting on Saturday
Need to start on The Diamond Eye, as it‘s a two week loan from the library. I also need to work on The Duke & I and A Promised Land and start The Verge
The Day 3 prompt for the #BigJuneReadathon #photochallenge was "dance" and I immediately thought of this book/movie.
Ron/McGonagall just might be my favorite dance partners.

This is by far my favorite book in the series… so much happens and is the end of Harry‘s childhood in many ways. #hpchapteraday
