ErinSBecker I'd like to recommend The Birchbark House series, which tells a story of the same time period and geographic area as Little House, but from the perspective of a young Ojibwe girl. Most similar in style to LH in the Big Woods - descriptions of everyday life, family stories, simple narrative. The author is Ojibwe. Highly highly recommended.

Spice World: The Movie | Spice Girls

Another blast from the past.....Spice world. It‘s hard to believe that I was 13 when this movie came out?! Is it bad that this movie is now 22 years old and I still love it! 😂🤣. An Unremembered Grave | Abigail Padgett

Loved Abigail Padgett‘s books in the 90‘s. She had two series out that at the time seemed fresh and unusual. One series featured a child protection advocate with bipolar disorder and the other a lesbian social psychologist. Just discovered she had another book published in 2014 (tagged) and I somehow missed it! Now I have to go book shopping.

Party Games: A Fear Street Novel | R. L. Stine

If this isn‘t the most 20-teens dedication, then I don‘t know what is! This was a fun, quick read that gave me all the nostalgic feels. I devoured goosebumps and fear street books as a kid. It‘s super silly, and obviously not the best in horror, but I enjoyed the cheesiness.

Well that was a fun trip down #memorylane JB is pretty bold and I appreciate the voice she gave to all of us growing up in the 70s & 80s. This book is certainly dated in many ways but I‘m sure it was ahead of its time when first published. I didn‘t mind this YA book at all, I think todays authors can still learn a lot from JB😍Thanks for the buddyread @LauraBeth @DebinHawaii 💕

Reggie When I‘m on YouTube, sometimes there‘s these ads for master classes and one of the commercials was for Judy Blume‘s masterclass. She is in there talking about writing and it brought tears to my eyes because you can tell she cares. A lot. I‘ve never read her but I bought Forever earlier today so maybe sometime this week. 6y
