Another cozy that kicks off with some toxic characters. I don‘t like the over the top negativity of a lot of cozies. I found out after starting this that the author is also Eva Gates, and I had to discontinue her lighthouse library series for the same reason. I guess she isn‘t for me!

I liked this, but I felt like I was starting book 2 of the series instead of book 1, as there's already two love interests she'd met prior to the story kicking off, and the character was already settled back in her hometown. But it was fun!

I‘m all in on Christmas murder mysteries!!!

This was a light and fun read for the Christmas season, and I think some of the characters could grow on me if I were to read more in the series, but I found the mystery itself a bit dull. I prefer Vicki Delany's Smith and Winters mystery series.

I enjoyed this but....very repetitive, we are told several times about the importance of Christmas economically to the town of Rudolph and how a murder during this time could ruin the town, the ending is the other issue.⬇️,

This has all the hallmarks for a quintessential cozy mystery. It is one of the authors earlier books and her writing improved with experience. I love her Lighthouse Library series under the pseudonym Eva Gates. I did like it enough to read the rest of the series. I would love to visit a town like Rudolph. Merry lives in Rudolph, known for its 24/7/365 celebration of Christmas. Everything is cheery in town until things start breaking and murder happens. Merry is on the clock to save Christmas and the town from destruction. This is a delightful cozy with good writing, very different characters (Merry‘s mom is a former opera singer!), and Merry‘s store of handmade gift items sounds like a delightful place to visit!

This was a really fun cozy. I love the idea of Christmas year round. The suspect wasn‘t obvious to me.

Trying to read a Christmas cozy mystery while my son is in surgery but am understandably having a difficult time concentrating.

A fun cozy mystery for any time of the year with enjoyable characters and an entertaining storyline. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is a cute cozy mystery, I feel like the series has potential but for this book it felt a little scattered to me. The suspect list was all over the place and the ending was kind of strange. I do think it's a neat idea for a cozy series though.
