This was good! The audiobook is a fun listen. I knew a lot of the jokes because I have rewatched Seinfeld MANY times 😂 but I still liked it.

Confession: In 1995, at age 13, I read Seinlanguage. I also watched the occasional episode of Seinfeld, since we had exactly 2 channels on our TV at the time. The confession is, I had a HUGE crush on Jerry. Until I realized that he was an OLD MAN (41 years old!!!).
I am now 40. 😱
Good book. If you like him, read it.

Laugh out loud funny. I could literally hear him telling the jokes in my head! Been a fan of him since the first time I saw him live in the early 90‘s! The book is well organized and the jokes follow Seinfeld‘s wonderful career! A must for any Seinfeld fan!

I don‘t really know what I was expecting but the fast paced, short paragraphs left me feeling a bit disappointed. I had some laugh out loud moments and enjoyed listening to Jerry read his own book, it was nice to hear that voice again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This #Nonfiction #audiobook was basically a stand up marathon! I enjoy most of Seinfeld's material so this was a treat to hear him share his insights.
I found his perspective of decades worth of material most interesting and the transitions between the phases in his life fascinating.
I definitely suggest listening!

7-3-21: My 71st finished book of 2021! This book is a compilation of bits that Seinfeld has saved from his performance years. I was hoping it would be laugh out loud funny but that only happened a few times. If nothing else, it‘s an interesting glimpse into the way a comedian works. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍🏼📖#️⃣7️⃣1️⃣

I needed something light and fun to listen to while I plowed through some work today. This collection of bits from the 1970‘s until now was perfect.

A quick and easy listen! I laughed a lot, but if you‘re not a fan of Seinfeld, you may not like this, as it‘s kinda like one long stand-up routine. He shares some of his best material over his many decades in the business. If you‘re looking for a memoir, this is not it!

I love listening to audiobooks when I run, and this one was a pleasure. If you‘re not a fan of Seinfeld, walk away. It‘s very Jerry. It‘s not a memoir. It‘s a collection of bits he pulled from his collection of old notebooks. It was like listening to hours of his standup. ❤️

Also finished this audio today, read by the author. It was set up like a trip through time - the evolution of Seinfeld‘s stand up through small bits. I enjoyed it, but don‘t expect continuous lol moments... audiences help create those.

Give 2020 a pass!

I was expecting more. There were some really funny bits, but it was just one after the other. I wish there was more of him and less bits.

In his defence his book title is “Is this Anything?” And the whole Book was him working out his material basically. So, it was okay and I did laugh out loud more then a few times.

I love Jerry Seinfeld, so I really enjoyed listening to him read his book. It consists of several of his comedy bits, organized by decade. I recognized some of them that became episodes of Seinfeld. This was fun to listen to while I was #audiostitching.

This was close to a pick but felt a little uneven, a little unfinished. Likely could of used more editing but I imagine it is difficult to edit Jerry Seinfeld. Pretty good on audio, but also felt a little uneven. That may have been because we listened to the McConaughey book on the first leg of our trip and it was so outstanding; this may have suffered from the comparison. Overall though a book that we both enjoyed which is a pretty tall order.

1. It might be stretching the definition of memoir, but Seinfeld's book is his life through his routines.
2. Tom Hanks. He's led a varied and interesting life.

This is a book about nothing. To coin a phrase from his show. Not sure what to think of the book. Was it a lazy grab for money or a sincere attempt to share his life‘s long work. Even the spacing is suspicious, each line double spaced to make the book appear to be lengthier. This is just a collection of his routines. No insight into himself or his craft. If you‘re a fan, there are memories. If you‘re looking for “something” this isn‘t it.

I did this book as an audio because usually I love when comics read their own work. Jerry just read, with no emotion, a list of old jokes. There was the occasional little aside, which I was interested in. But mostly he went back to his start in comedy and just read off a list of punchlines and setups. Most were out of date. Most were not funny. It felt out of touch.

Bedtime reading.

10 out of 5 stars!! If you love the Seinfeld show or Jerry Seinfels you have to listen to this! Its basically 6 hours of bits Seinfeld kept to himself during his career. Hilarious! Definitely recommend the audio of this one for sure! Print just wouldnt be the same.

I love Jerry Seinfeld, he's one of my favorite comedians. This is a compendium of his various routines from the 70s up to 10s. Sure I've heard a lot of these, but Jerry's delivery always makes me laugh again. This is definitely one that should be audio only. 4 💥💥💥💥 1/2

Jerry Seinfeld is best known for the TV show about nothing. A regular guy whose wry observations are often hilarious and insightful. This audio covers 50 years of material he gathered. Some bits are hysterical, others you‘ve heard him muse before but in these darker days a little humor goes a long way. I HIGHLY recommend audio, because nobody can deliver a joke as well as Jerry Seinfeld.

Sunrise with Jerry 💜Some observations are REALLY funny, others not so much...but it‘s Jerry Seinfeld and his delivery is always perfect.
