pickBrilliant! I wasn‘t expecting this book at all. I thought it would just be hilarious, but it made me love Miranda even more! It really spoke to me because I have just authored a workbook for awakening your wild woman and the language Miranda uses really aligned with me. The way she spoke and wrote felt like an intimate conversation with a close friend. It was helpful, comforting and hilarious. Thank you Miranda! I will gallop with you anywhere 💕

My pick for November is Stalking Around The Christmas Tree.
At 89% and I had to pause - again - or I might would've started to cry. I mean, I did read about about shutdowns and autistic burnouts, but hearing her talking about them that openly? That hits differentky, again. I'm the one who goes nonverbal and got in trouble for that not only as a child, but also as a grown-up. Finally I know, why this happens. I think I need to feed my ADHD side for a while before continuing this.
pickAlways reassuring when a long running series has a particularly good entry in a later volume. As has happened in the past, this one shone not because it was particularly zany (though the comic quality of this series is to be treasured) but because it managed a multi-episode narrative that was semi-serious in tone, and, as has regularly appeared in the series, commentary on how war affects people as individuals.
