My reading platform today since I'm starting off my #readthroughthe4th with a migraine 😫. Turns out the metal platter is super cold on my head, so I have my book on the next one down while I lean against it and read. If I were rich and had my own place, I'd so have an old film platter system as a sort of rotating shelf. It's uses are endless.

pickIf you love the movies Pirates of the Caribbean. You will love this book. It is actually a prequel to all the movies gives a back story to the man known as Captain Jack. His history with EITC and Cutler.

This is in reference to the #JollyRogers, the trademark of a pirate. It signaled and warned enemy ships of their untimely death and what they could expect from the pirates, no mercy. Originally, red in color, as seen on the playing cards, and got its name from the French word rouge, meaning red.

Here is a game the #UnderTheSeaCreatures played, on the Flying Dutchman, in Dead Man's Chest. It's a game of chance, wit, lies, and speculation.
Unfortunately, for the men bound to the Dutchman, they have become part of the sea and part of the ship, so they have started to grow coral and algae, and become fish like. They are not of the living; they are dead men.
