Saying Goodbye

My husband and I had to say goodbye to a true legend today, our Sullivan. He was my reading buddy and a true lover of books (to sleep on). I‘m devastated - he was only in this world for 13 years and it just wasn‘t enough. Even during his treatment for cancer the last few months, he never lost his spirit. ❤️ #sullivancat

Between this and the awfulness in Ukraine, I‘m really struggling to read right now.

One of my best work friends passed away Sunday night from covid. Even though we all work remotely, we worked together for over 4 years and spoke, laughed, messaged, and caught up regularly. It has hit myself and many in our company family hard. Her family was kind enough to stream her funeral for us. So we‘re working and saying goodbye this morning.

Saying Goodbye | Mike O'Mary

I‘ve been pretty emotional lately. 3 days ago we found out that my parents dog, Chloe, has a tumor on her neck that‘s strangling her. Yesterday we found out that it‘s cancer and very fast moving. She has other tumors as well. So my parents made the decision to have her put down so she can go peacefully. The hubs and I are going with them tomorrow so we can be there when she passes. She‘s been a wonderful, sweet dog. We‘ll all miss her. 💔
