Favorite genre of many!

I am gauging interest in forming a group dedicated to historical fiction? My idea was to pick a time period and/or location and you choose a book for the prompt, helping those TBR piles. One prompt a month or set for the year? Open to other ideas though.

ChaoticMissAdventures I love this!! Historical fiction is one of my favorites and probably the one I read most of, I do avoid most things WWII unless the author is Jewish. Would assume we could join some months and not others? I would love to discuss the books and different times and cultures more! 11mo

Hello my fellow Littens! I read a great time travel book recently and loved it! I‘m looking for recommendations for some other great time travel books with a historical fiction aspect. I own all of the Outlander books and love the ones I‘ve read so far. Bonus points for a good #audiobook recommendation!

Purpleness If you‘d be interested in trying a less serious series, try Jodi Taylor‘s series about a historical research facility that uses time travel.

Megabooks I watched the movie first too and read the audiobook a few years later. They‘re a little different but I enjoyed both! (edited) 3y

CaitZ Connie Willis is another great author for time travel books - To Say Nothing of the Dog, The Doomsday Book, and Blackout and All Clear. 👋 Jace 3y

Soubhiville I read this a couple months ago. It‘s kind of time travel in a Groundhog Day/ Quantam Leap/ Agatha Christie way- I know that sounds bizarre, but I really liked it:
