A day out out yesterday, our long anticipated mobile app/geo location Murder Mystery game in Barnsley town centre, unfortunately we were rained off. The game itself was great, finding the locations and uncovering the clues: but our team β€œDon‘t Mess With Jess” became sodden and grumpy, even a cheeky G&T couldn‘t fix the problem. One to try again on the sunshine. Today I‘m staying dry and reading.

Metropolitan Melbourne is back in stage 3 lockdown which means my daily attempt to convince myself that a walk is a good idea is back on!

Had one of those "what is UP with the youth of today" moments of auntiedom tonight when I was watching this and the nephew asked, "Is that Betty White?"

I was about to say if this show had come out today, there would be book tie-ins. But Goodreads tells me there were 46 of them! πŸ˜† how about a tie-in comic?? This has been my task all evening, and it's been great.

I enjoyed this book. I have been a fan of Murder She Wrote for years and Jessica Fletcher is one of my favorite literary and TV characters! I did not, however, enjoy the focus on her romantic life; she had Frank and has George, why does this storyline keep getting exploited? This romancing was the only thing I did not like about this book and was only a minor annoyance. Would recommend this book to mystery lovers!

At a loss for words today, and unable to focus on reading, so I'll show you my new shirt instead.

It's entirely impractical being that Christmas in Australia is in the middle of summer but my love of Jessica Fletcher (and Angela Lansbury in general) is strong!
