I can now confirm that a total eclipse is exponentially better than even 99% coverage. One of the coolest, spookiest things I've ever seen, not to mention the temperature plummeting and all the songbirds disappearing for three minutes, then returning all at once singing their morning song. If you ever get a chance to see one, do it. It's worth the effort!

A good reread. I always enjoy reading books I haven‘t read in a while. You always find something new when you reread a story multiple times. It tends to give you a fresh perspective on something you thought you knew before.

Harry Potter. Twilight

I finally finished Eclipse. I did like this book better than New Moon. Bella still gets on my nerves. I do like the books better than the movies. I rated this book a 4 out 5 stars.

This is the least enjoyable of the series for me. There's a killer in Seattle leaving behind a trail of dead bodies, but everyone's attention is somewhere else. Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Carlisle, & Esme barely feature, and it all just feels rather meh.

Don't even get me started on the love triangle, and as for the whole imprinting thing - nope, no & no. Disappointing compared to the previous two books. 2⭐

Ugh. this was not the best book of the saga. I felt the dynamic between Bella and Edward in this one to be rather toxic and childish. I was cringing most of this read, while also wanting nothing more then to throw it out a window. I felt the plot was poorly written as well, along with spelling errors.

RE-READ: in this part Edward is too controlling and Bella is even more whiny, moody and annoying. And there is a lot of love triangle weirdness. I still had fun reading this one :)

Brought in the New Year with my newest #currentread Eclipse, the third book in the #TwilightSaga. It has been a cringy start, but looking forward to see how this plays out. I've enjoyed watching the progression in writing style as the series unfolds.

How could I be so in love & heartbroken at the same time!? They say time heals pain but perhaps that‘s not necessarily true, if you don‘t want the pain to heal. Human life, as we know eventually comes to an end. Edward embraces making mistakes as an important part of being human. I wonder if obtaining eternal life means one is given the chance to forever learn from their mistakes to the point where it almost becomes rare for one to make mistakes.

About half way through, so many mixed feelings! 🙈 I haven't decided just yet if I throughly enjoy it or if I'm just so far in I can't bring myself to turn back. 📖

Such nostalgia :) Even now, 15 years later, I still loved this book! Funny and enjoyable, romantic and entertaining.

Continuing with my first ever read of the Twilight Saga, I'm now on Eclipse, and damn is it long. The pages usually fly by, though.

After I finished New Moon, the husband and I watched the movie together, and I laughed at the way they depicted Edward's voice. If you've seen the movies, you know what I mean. 🤣

The TRUTH is Twilight saga was always about Bella and Jacob! How didn‘t I know that? I love Edward but he was relegated to being a supporting prop in every successive book. Meyer had me for a fool for years till I re read the books😀. Twilight series was all about the unfulfilled love between Bella and Jacob and Edward was just a glitch in Bella‘s brain that prevented her from being with Jacob...

This is the best book in this series so far. And so many revelations. The dilemma faced by Bella is described vividly. The conversations between Bella and Edward are priceless and they are so deep. And so do the dialogues between Jacob and Bella. The complexity of love is brought about with clarity. And throughout the book you will be seeing the world through Bella's eyes and at one point of time, you will start thinking like her. Love this book!!

I love this series. Love the characters, and I just adore the storyline. But at certain points, I am feeling it difficult to comprehend the writing of the descriptions and the events. Does anyone else feel the same?
